The Wastes

Not much to look at, but one should always keep their eyes peeled, as beasts and men alike seek to prey upon the unaware. A wise traveler should always be wary of blind ridges, overhangs, mesas, dens, and caves- usually avoiding them entirely.

Fauna & Flora

Large insects, spiders, and unusually sized rodents are somewhat common. Snakes and large centipedes have been known to stay from the deeper portions of the wastes. Striders often run in packs, ripping apart vermin and travelers apart with razor-like talons and beaks. Though unconfirmed, some claim man-like beasts roams The Wastes.

Natural Resources

Low-lying grasses and extra-hearty shrubs dot the wastes, all utilizing very extensive root systems to reach at whatever moisture the ground absorbs from the aqueducts below.
