Aqua Magna

A planet with an endless ocean, broken only by six islands in one hemisphere and a small archipelago in the other. Long, long ago, visitors from another world populated these islands with biomechanical, elementally aligned beings, their purpose unknown to all but those who built them. Secrets lurk below the ground, under the seas, on the islands, and even in the stars. On a tribal-technological island of these elemental peoples, war breaks over religion and state control, over who owns the coveted Legendary Masks of Power, and over ancient artifacts placed in the world by the Author, an ancient god that is all too real. His polar opposite Xantrav lays in wait below the crust, a grudge formed 75 million years ago waiting to come to a head, and threatening to disrupt idyllic life on Aqua Magna permanently.
