Freymere
Party Reputation: Trusted
Thorin Reputation: Allied
Found on the centre of the country, Freymere is an unassuming village, home to a mix of elves, humans and dwarves, with the occasional halfling.
Prior to the war, it was quite famous for it’s wine; Nebira Vineyard is the property of the major of the village (Human noble Jestin Keeniak). Many of its wines were exported to the various major cities and towns in Dorna.
However with the war being the Dynasty’s major concern, little expense was incurred on fine wines.
The village’s economy plummeted because of this. Farmers more so had to work the land, while business at smithies and other service industries slowed down as money was no longer coming in from the outside to stimulate the village’s economy.
Numerous establishments closed their doors during the 13 year war.
The village itself looks delightful. Wheat straw rooftops, shingle walls – clearly this place was once a proud little hamlet that grew in size and popularity due to its valuable alcoholic product being sought out throughout the country. Now a shadow of its former self. Bitter proof of the war’s impact on the country of Dorna.
An assortment of different coloured flowers lay in the village centre – an unwillingness of its citizens to lose hope for the future, especially given than word has reached Freymere that the war has come to an end.
A small river runs parallel to the village – further upstream is the vineyard itself; Nebira Vineyard
