Acacius' Garden

A location past the Dyaspora with massive hedges that reports have described as "A mix between a labyrinth and a garden." Sigils and shrines have been found by explorers often right before breezes of wind and sudden, permanent, losses of communication.

Summary

The Garden lies in the Northeast hemisphere of Aperture. The hedges of the garden shift and there exists inside of it a caretaker; the caretaker's name is Natran. Though not completely hostile, it is paranoid and is known to wipe out entire parties without a single swing of a weapon.
Successfully navigating the garden without being caught is told to gift rewards beyond our world in gravity and importance.

Historical Basis

There is a myth of Acacius, and his name, Acacius, is rooted in the Acacia tree; past this, there is no other basis.

Spread

This knowledge comes mostly from a report from an exploratory team. Therefore, the only people who know of it are other explorers and the operators of the mission in the Sinew.

Variations & Mutation

The story and exploration of Aperture are still very new, as the Sinew has only existed for a little less than a year. Still, word gets around, and the fate of Team Neptune is still widely debated.

In Literature

Amongst the more secular cults in the Sinew this story has been used as a reason to protest and inhibit activities that support exploration and "human interference" in matters of this realm.

In Art

Some heroes and citizens of the Sinew have created large tapestries of depictions of the garden. The works always include stone work overgrown by moss and grass.
