The Null Syndicate

The Null Syndicate is an evil organization run by the Fallen Architect Null
Notable members Origins To truly understand the Syndicate, you must first understand nothing. Long before the World Anvil, and before creation there was a serenity that existed where light, sound, and color didn't hold sway and the darkness stretched for eternity. Within this dark space, a single breath gave life to Null the first Architect and the first of those who would one day come to shape the multiverse. 
Slowly more of the Architects came into being among the darkness, each finding light in a world they created unto themselves. Reaching another was hard, and many would hide their light from others and protect it. Suddenly a great boom and in the center of the dark was a brilliant light that glowed from a deep and beautiful flame. This was the birthplace of the World Anvil, and where Null guided the lost architects for warmth and light. 
When the World Anvil was created, the worlds made by the architects began to take form and forged upon its cosmic surface sprung them to life! One by one, worlds began to fill the darkness and Null was displeased. The serenity was gone, the still and silence replaced with anarchy and chaos. His mind only stilled with the presence of his two friends, Janya and Dimitus. The three would guide architects, help them create worlds, and shape their imaginations using the World Anvil. Null felt that there were those who didn't truly appreciate the power they wielded, that they squandered it. 
This brought about the great divide, and Null made his move to try and seize the World Anvil for his own. But together Janya and Dimitus forced Null back and prevented the World Anvil from being destroyed at the hands of Null. They banished him to the space between worlds where he would remain forever, unable to manifest or to expire. 
From within the dark Null waiting, until he was approached by a mysterious entity who offered him a way to return. Through the use of special suits that were given a portion of his power, he could once again move through the multiverse. Null was provided a number of sacrifices, people created by the architects and corrupted by Null became a part of his essence and donned the suits of the Syndicate. They marched upon Anvilheim and tried to destroy the World Anvil, however, the Keepers managed to fend them back but at a great loss. 
While Null and his forces have gone back into hiding for the time being, his numbers are steadily growing and as the Lost Council continues to move among the realms, a sinister force moves in their shadow waiting for its moment to rise.

Membership Requirements: Your essence must be extinguished and you must give yourself to Null and be reborn as a Null Wraith
Influence Limitations: Null's energy cannot persist on any created realm or plane. But through the use of special suits, Null Wraiths have started appearing from time to time.
