Winter Festivities
Susannites believe that during the month of The Fallen, he may return to Atamor and bring on another Age of Darkness. To avoid that during the whole month special celebrations, prayers and magical rituals take place which purpose is to shield the world from The Darkness.
Execution
Big Prayers
Big Prayers are the main events of the month. Prayers are held continuously in all churches in the world. Priests are praying non-stop and the people are coming and going as the time passes. During the month of The Fallen it is customary for everyone to go to a church at least once a day.
Shielding the World
During the month, Mages all around Atamor hold rituals which shield the world from The Darkness. The exact nature of the rituals is unknown to the common people.
Festivals
Though the month of The Fallen may look as a sad period, the Susannite Church encourages people to be happy. They say that with being happy and celebrating, people can show The Fallen that they are good without him. The festivals are held in town squares, castles, villages and private homes. During the festivals people eat, drink and have fun.
I like the emphasis is on showing The Fallen that the people are good without him, as well as on prayers.
