White Mountain

White Mountain, also known as Biała Góra, is a city in Western Krakia and the seat of House Bielski.

History

White Mountain is one of the oldest cities in Krakia. It was founded in the Age of Susanne and it stands to this day,

In the early days of the Empire, White Mountain was terrorized by bandits and nobles wanting to get rich. Only one person was brave enough to stand up to them and defend the city. It was a mage named Mieszko. He used his powers to push the bandits and nobles out of the city and gathered the cityfolk around him. People under Mieszko's leadership raided the bandit camps and forced the nobles to hide in their castles. Seeing that the Emperor elevated Mieszko to nobility and made him the Warden of Western Krakia. House Bielski was born.

Under the protection of House Bielski White Mountain flourished. It quickly became the main trade hub for Western Krakia. It was possible because of the city's location on the bank of river Tobra. The river was the easiest way to get to Massalta from where the goods could be transported by sea.
