Anira A Broken World, full of possibility

To the inhabitants of Anira, it has always been known as the Floating World.   But to those who peer under the surface, it will forever be known as the Broken World.   An ancient legend tells of a cosmic disaster that broke the world apart long before written history. In the intervening eras one mighty civilisation rose, fell, and gave birth to another civilisation, which also went the way of the first.   Then long did the people of the world lay isolated from each other, until hope arrived through the invention and subsequent use of the airship. Hope gave way to greed as nations waged war against another. All seemed lost until the establishment of the Hanseatic League, returning peace to the nations of Anira.   From the idyllic frontiers of the River, Mountain and Plain to the cosmopolitan busyness of the Emirates to the wilds of Stormholme and the secrets hidden beneath Seo Kirimandi, the Aethergrande offers plenty of opportunity to those who seek it.   Upon the vast and cloudy expanse travel the Skybound, adventurers who seek fame and fortune through adventure and discovery. From all walks of life and purpose they hail, brought together by the prospect of a better, more exciting life.   This world currently follows the stories of two different Skybound crews:  

• Fourbearants, a motley crew of oddballs who are rising through the ranks in Agelua;
• The The Crowns And Roses, an all-female crew currently adventuring in Agelua.
