The Kingdom is named after Princess Padua, the middle daughter of King Ramyas.

To facilitate most trade, Padua (along with the other Kingdoms of the Alliance) use the Aethergrandian Gold Piece. While available in silver, copper and platinum denominations, gold is the most current means of exchange.
