The story of Plateous' nickname

One day, a young magician was practicing a spell he'd been working on for months, a spell for transportation. If it worked, he would be a hero, trading would be much faster, and traveling would be much less dangerous.

But first, he needed a volunteer, that's where Plateous comes in. He said he'd be honored to volunteer in this spell. Little did he know, he would get more than he bargained for.

The spell was spoken, and planned on sending him a few feet away, just for a test. What actually happened, though, was that Plateous was sent to to earth!

Immediately, the magician frantically made attempts to return him for days, but failed each time, until one fateful day when it worked. Plateous appeared before him, fur matted and slightly bloody. The only thing he said before storming off was, "Before you ask, no, I have NOT had the best experience."
