The celebration of the warmest day is a celebration taking place every 3
anems at
Veni's most potent point when
Azure is at its weakest.
At this date the temperature all over Animora is scolding hot,
The celebration is held over most of Animora on the surface, though it is rarely if ever celebrated underground.
Celebrations are done in different ways in different sections of Animora.
The south
In
the south the celebration varies i ndetail, but in general it is a day for celebration, not work. People tend to go to their nearby temples and bring offerings to
Velin as the goddess of fire, and whichever harvest deity is most popular or is closest to their area for requesting good harvests in the coming year.
It is also a day where kings, queens, emperors and even lesser gods of the south bring forth their inquiries and prayers to
god queen Velin, some royals will travel far and wide to get to
Velith to see the
throne of Velin itself and offer up prayers and offering to the goddess, hoping for her favour in the years to come.
Enokk
In
Enokk the celebration is more subdued, offerings are made to fire gods and harvest gods if any are nearby or relevant and some more tribal cultures may sacrifice to
The eternal flame itself.
Giants
The giants of the realm have longer memories than men, helped greatly by the fact that they have been there so much longer then even the elves. It is not uncommon for the
hooshi to give an offering to
Ishva in celebration and thanks to her for her work in creating the world.
Darr are less known for giving offerings, they worship their seven gods, and it is them they sacrifice to this day, each family unit offers something small through flame and offers to one of the seven a prayer to give their thanks to the
world dragon who brought
The eternal flame to Animora.
