Animation City

Animation City is the only Animated city in the United States, where Animated of all types try to get on with their lives. Spanning across multiple genres and environments, Animation City is arguably more a world of its own than a city, a colorful wonderland of people and creatures. From dinosaurs to cosmonauts to witches and mad scientists and more, Animation City has everything a child and the young-at-heart can dream of. The City is a highly popular destination of human tourism, and to the average tourist, Animation City seemed to be a fantasy world far better than their own lives.   But Animation City is not immune to the tribulations and calamities of life, and beyond the tourist traps there is strife brewing beneath its cheerful appearance. The tension between Toons and Digis grows every year as 2D animation becomes less and less seen in theaters. Clays fight to be seen more and stop being pushed to the fringes of Animated society. Rivalries between factions such as the magical versus the technological begets conflicts every day, both minor and great. Danger lurks in every district, sometimes from the land itself, sometimes from the citizens, both knowingly and ignorantly.   And that's just the "family-friendly" stuff. But the Animated are strongly encouraged to not talk about those issues outside of themselves. After all, cartoons are for kids, right? Can't have anything reflect badly on the animation companies for presenting Animated as anything but childhood icons. But increasing resentment towards their rules may spur a new - and dangerous - path against these corporations.   Welcome to Animation City. Enjoy your stay, but watch your step. The City likes to change its streets once in awhile, and who knows where you may end up.
