Tregan Lartsim
Tregan Lartsim (a.k.a. Tregan the Loyal, Redbeard)
Tregan Lartsim was a famous computer technician/researcher/inventor within the Military Command Array (MCA) for his revolutionary work on Fabritech. His fame only has limited reach because his work was and still is considered classified and for military eyes only.
Unbeknownst to anyone within the Autonomous State of Individual Freedom (ASIF) Tregan was killed by a spy of the Theocracy of the Ancient Ways. His death appeared to have been caused by an accident where he accessed the Unseen Fabric in an unsafe way, causing him to be instantly vaporized. What actually happened was that the spy was an experienced and highly trained Spellweaver who used his familiarity and experience with the Fabric to set up a boobytrap on the Fabric at the location where Tregan would access it.
Physical Description
Facial Features
The first thing noticed by most was the fact that Tregan's hair is black, but his beard was red. This has given him the nickname "Redbeard". He also wore glasses most of the time.

Education
Initially a self-taught hobbyist computer technician but then followed formal eductation at the University of Proto Node, where he became the youngest Fully Promoted student in the history of the University.
Employment
While not official and on record, Tregan has worked for the MCA as a researcher/engineer, although the organization would never acknowledge this.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Lartsim's most celebrated and known accomplishment is his discovery of a way to integrate the Unseen Fabric into Javal technology. Despite any use of Fabric being officially prohibited, the MCA secretly pursued the use of Fabric for military purposes, sanctioned by BiG Sys. The organization called on Lartsim, who was at that point the youngest ever Fully Promoted computer technician and well in sight by both BiG Sys and the MCA as a prospective recruit. With Fabric being something that could not be publicly studied in ASIF, knowledge about it was limited and Lartsim's ability to quickly think, learn and absorb the available information and knowledge caused him to become an/the authority on the subject. He found out that the Fabric, always thought to be an abstract or ethereal thing, was in fact something that could temporarily be made physical when the right gravitational oscillations were applied to a location (now known as the Lartsim Principle). This was a huge deal as this meant that technological entities, such as computers or similar technology that was so important in Javal society, would be able to connect with the Fabric. Although he failed to find a way to actually harness the power and possibilities of the Fabric before his death, Lartsim is still considered an important explorer, even a pioneer, of Fabric-technology integration (later known as Fabritech).
