The Land of Endless War

The rolling sands of the desert slowly grew smaller and smaller. All that could be seen now were massive cities among plains of grass and hills. The castles in all their magnificence, with tall towers of strong stone. The flowing rivers, of where small towns laid quietly minding their own business as armies of great lords crossed their lands to wage war for supremacy over each other. It was no mistake, they had entered the land of endless war, Eyrippe.

Geography

Size
Eyrippe is the largest continent in Andrathi and the most prosperous. Its size is exactly 46.18 million km2, greatly dwarfing the continents of Isya and Averke. The continent is also home to the largest cities and rivers as well as some extremely tall mountains. Rivers
Eyrippe has lots and lots of rivers, some small, others large, some who directly flow out into the ocean, others sprawl into a sea or ocean and form a delta. Some have hundreds of people relying upon it while others are avoided due to rumours of it containing horrible creatures. The largest river is the river Divnab, spanning 3183 km, on which many cities are founded upon. Mountains/Mountain Ranges
Eyrippe is home to many mountain ranges, all of which 7 are major mountain ranges. The largest is the Alkis mountain range which spans almost 2000 km and 14 kingdoms. The other six are scattered across the continent, dividing kingdoms, towns and people. Many kingdoms make their home in these mountain ranges as many are easily defensible and have positions to build castles. Terrain
Eyrippe has a mostly flat terrain but some locations on the continent are known for having a rocky terrain with lots of hills. The terrain has an average height of 200 metres above the seafloor. Another thing about the terrain of Eyrippe is that it often has wonderful and easily defensible positions to build a castle. Surrounding Islands
To the west of Eyrippe lie the Clytic Isles, 3 islands near the continent which are home to warring tribes and barbarians. To the north lies the shattered land, a series of islands where winter never ends. These islands have ice-breathing dragons, towering mammoths and hungry sabre-cats waiting to pounce on any prey they find. But the most dangerous of all are the Northmen, raiders who often make the voyage to Eyrippe to raid and pillage all that they can find.

Fauna & Flora

Flora
Eyrippe is home to the most diverse flora in Andrathi. Hundreds of unique types of flowers, trees and fungi. The most common is the Eyrippean Redleaf tree which is present in most forests. Many houses and kingdoms take their symbols from the flora of Eyrippe as it is a vital part of the continent. Fauna
Eyrippe has possibly the most normal fauna. No strange 8 legged creatures haunt the forests. No 5 eyed giants roam the mountains looking for new prey. No giant lizards dwell in the swamps, ready to pounce on whatever they can find. Eyrippe has a very normal fauna. Deers, cats, pigs, etc. Dragons used to roam the continent, but they are long gone. Ogres, 2 metre tall hairy creatures that live in caves are very rare but are still around.
