Ammoian Empire

What would society look like if there were about four females to every male? How would society function? What might society look like if Eve ate the forbidden fruit but not Adam?   The Ammoian Empire is a high tech, patriarchal and feudal society spanning across about a thousand well established worlds and a few other colonies and mining outposts.   Most families have an occupational specialty with the Greater Houses controlling whole sectors of the Empire. These Greater Houses also have other worlds beyond Ammoia Prime which they call home.   The lesser houses all work at raising their own numbers and status to petition the Empire for a home world of their own, picked from worlds the Empire colonizes and prime-forms into worlds habitable to the Ammoians.   Space, however, is a large area to control, and there are dark forces that lurk in the shadows which seek to tear down their history and traditions, therefore the Ammoians remain forever vigilant against the forces of the dark!
