Personal history

Tala was one of five Heirs created by Ther. When Tala awoke on the Samagri, she was lonely. Among the life that was around her, she yearned for company. This would eventually lead her to Shodar. Shodar stirred a passion deep within her. She would eventually charm Shodar and together share children known as the Ashun. The Ashun bore Tala's image, which was a likeness identifiable with the human physiology. Tala only wanted to see the Ashun grow and spread. As they did, the creatures of the world would cause the Ashun pain. When she asked Shodar to protect them, he refused. This caused Tala to stumble into agony, a world of pain and anguish were Osgolip rehearsed his vengeance. Tala saw great and terrible things. Returning to Samagri, Tala intervened.   Tala would create a duality within all living things. An incomprehensible power, Tala created a tether that bound the essence within living creatures to another plane. There, Tala would keep watch over the Ashun. Then, Tala touch the gem of power within the Ashun. This would drive the Taladin to seek to magnify their essence. Eventually, this would allow the Ashun to speak words of creation similar to the Heirs. Though the Ashun could not comprehend this power, it would eventuate the inevitable conclusion of the Great Cycle. From this point, the Ashun that followed her would be called the Taladin.   Heirs of Death and Disease sought to destroy the Taladin, but Tala had prepared. By feeding on the essence of living things, the Taladin survived. But this would cause Shodar to defend the creatures of Osgolip. Thus, Tala would watch Shodar battle against the Taladin. Vinima, one of the great warriors of the Taladin, defeated Shodar. However, Vinima would be slain and taken to the Gloaming Shroud that Tala had created to hide those that perished. While Tala wept, Zamigdral had compassion. Zamigdral knew that it was Tala that had created the Gloaming Shroud. In so doing, Tala had preserved the memories of Zamigdral's creations. While Zamigdral would raise Vinima to a new stature. Distinct from the Taladin, the renewed Ashun did not share a bond with Tala. These would later be revealed to be most commonly associated with Goblins.   When Osgolip finally released his hordes upon the face of the world, Tala's preparation had finally come to fruition. The Taladin were strong and faced the hordes. However, the Taladin were filled with fear, causing many to fall against the cleaving devils. While the Taladin would survive the onslaught, the Taladin would be scattered throughout the world. During this time, many would forget Tala. This led many to seek out various Heirs to seek gifts. This would cause Tala to curse the Taladin, speaking Dvali the Heir of Darkness. Dvali divided all things that none alone could create life. And Tala wept alone until she returned to her slumber.
