Shodar

Shodar was the first Ashun set upon the world. He was created by Osgolip to defend his creatures from the predators of Shuna. Shodar bears the likeness of a goblin, though as tall as a human. Diligent in his duties, he was charmed a single time by Tala. During this time, Tala stole a piece of Shodar from him and used it to create humanity in their shared likeness. Shodar would reject these people and return to protect the creations of Osgolip. Eventually, Shodar would be defeated defending those same creations from his descendent, Vinima.

Personal history

Shodar was created by Osgolip as the First Shepherd. When Osgolip created him, he filled Shodar with a thirst of duty and savageness. Shodar would take the bones that riddled the world and create weapons. With these weapons, Shuna's beast could not surpass Shodar. But Shodar's appetite for battle could not be satiated. But Shodar was prepared for battle and not the charm of Tala. Shodar fell victim to Tala's tricks and she stole fragments of him to create new life. Thus, the Ashun would be made, but in Tala's likeness. When Shodar broke the charm, Shodar saw weakness with those children and left them.   It would be generations later that Shodar would face the consequence of those actions. As Vinima stood to battle Shodar, Vinima bore weapons summoned by words. Shodar struggled against Vinima, but was able to slay Vinima before he, himself, fell to his death. To this day, Shodar remains in his slumber somewhere in the Gloaming Shroud, protected by the gift that Tala offered to her children.
