Osgolip

Osgolip is one of five Heirs created by Ther. He is the second Heir to awaken upon Samagri. He is considered the Heir of Hunger. Osgolip would raise creatures to consume Zamigdral's creations. He would also create the Ashun, the ancestors of the Taladin. When Shodar, Osgolip's champion, would be slain, Osgolip would go on to create a plane of agony. Within this plane, demons and devils would grow. Osgolip would release his hordes upon Samagri and endeavors for revenge of Shodar.

Personal history

Osgolip bears a natural desire for growth that manifests as hunger. His creations would serve by feeding on the essence of the plants. This would include many fish, grazing animals, etc. Once animals were sufficiently fat with essence, Osgolip would consume them. This act would cause Zamigdral to hate Osgolip. Zamigdral would create fruits for the beasts that they might dwell in peace. For Zamigdral rejoiced that the world was filled, but Osgolip only sought to feed himself.
When Shuna created beasts to hunt Osgolip's creations, Osgolip created the Ashun. The Ashun were by Osgolip to be shepherds and protectors. Among them, Osgolip had a favorite: Shodar. Shodar was formed from Osgolip's shadow.
When Shodar died in a conflict with Vinima, Osgolip wept. He his himself in a place of agony. From his rage, he spat. The spitting formed into beasts that sweat acid and gnashed their teeth. And Osgolip created another Heir, Baied. Baied would fill Osgolip's desire to consume the light within all things, spilling corruption from his words.
When Osgolip would bring his creations into the mortal realm, he watch as many things were devoured. But when Zamigdral released the elemental planes upon Samagri, his hordes were destroyed. Osgolip turned in on himself swearing to return.
