One of the original advisors to the Monarach of Mashangist, House Qua is noted to have warned Mashangist of the dangers of the Old Dar'den. As the war commenced, House Qua was reluctant to support the conflict. Their allegiance to the throne urged their support. While their House did not commonly have a military charter, they represented the critical thought and planning that supported the movement of armies of Mashangist. The training of many of House Qua were given to the universities, competing directly against the libraries of Isfa. However, it is also perceived that House Qua holds much of the knowledge that would have directly brought the downfall of Isfa guarded. As such, House Qua has a stained reputation by the perception that they went against their oaths to support the people and the monarch.
