Haralonian
Haralonian is the language thay pervades much of the Taladin cultural centers. The language would be preserved by Anlienissa, the Haralonian Matriarch, through the time when Shkami sowed dissent in the world. As such, it is believed that Haralonian is the closest language to the original language spoken by Tala.
When Shkami confounded language, the minds of the people were altered. While it is believed that the people still believed they spoke the words, others would hear nonsense. While disruptive to communication, many people began to supplement the lack of clarity with gestures. Throughout the world, languages would depend on those in positions of honor.
This is particularly true for the cultural center that would become Haralon. As the people still revered Anlienissa, the population looked to her. Through diligence, Anlienissa and her companions managed to parse ancient texts using broken fragments of language found within the people (for fragments still were found within the minds of the people). Restructuring the language, Anlienissa managed to partially restore the ancient language. As the years would pass, this common language would be taught to the people, with the teaching continued by Aerenn. The language would be given the moniker, Haralonian, of the language of "the place of the children."
In time, Haralonian would spread, filling Isfa, Mashangist, Mustanir, Luam Cathwa, and Gamjuit. Though detectable accents between cultures appear, largely residual from the confounding, the language is common.
