Solsavium - The sunkissed city.

Solsavium lies on the Dhera and is on a peculiar cliff. Or more its a cliff on a cliff.
The only way to safely arrive at Solsavium is through very long serpentines winding either towards the road to Socanth and its supporting Farms or further inland and splitting three ways.

The City is famous for its scenic sunrise found nowhere else in the Kingdoms and for its laid back attitude towards establishments only open at night. This should pose a threat to the order in town; surprisingly though the Guards found that thanks to the strict order kept inside of the brothels and smoke-rooms surprisingly few people want to endanger their fun and just try to keep it low on the streets.

There is a natural cave system under the city which gives adventurers a nice training ground since the guards regularly send out wandering through groups to keep the monster population in check.

The Teeth

Giant watchtowers decorated with flags during peacetimes. If at war the towers are outfitted with cannons that destroy anything that even tries to get near the town to prevent it from being bombarded. Shoot first is a very good defence for this town.

Unknown to most of the citizens there are experiments of arcane nature in the caves under the town; this causes a lot of mutated creatures which is why the guards seem so well trained and a lot of adventurers are being hired.

History

At first, the caves were used as a stockade for the king, later for thieves guilds and those then started to build a village up top to explain the weird number of camping groups there. This later over many decades grew into this laid back city.

Architecture

The oldest buildings are nearly falling apart but there are still families living in them not wanting to part with generations of history.
A lot of it is white/gray stone mined from the nearby cliffs.
