Aranos the Fallen
The "healer of Serenity" was in fact Lady Serenity herself or her real name Baldruida'hlen Xoanis. This in fact makes Aranos a Demi-Lord and is the reason behind his many talents.

Aranos the Fallen, formerly known as Aran was born in 387 in Cyrril.
Aran was born to an elven mother and human father. His father was a Champion of Honor and his mother a Healer of lady Serenity, their relationship was forged in the crucible of battle. Eventually, this relationship turned into marriage and they had their first child Aran. As a young boy, Aran displayed immense martial prowess and magical capabilities. He was immediately admitted to be trained as a knight of honor. He was known for his justice and fairness. He made it his personal goal to purge evil from the world. At the time he was known as Aran the Just. But somewhere along the line, Aran realized that he could never purge evil from the world, he could never create the perfect utopia he envisioned. From there, his methods became more rash and questionable. He would rarely give second chances, he would rule with an iron fist. Anyone who committed a crime would be met not by mercy, but by wrath. The order of Honor eventually threw him out as they considered him too extreme too dogmatic. After this Aran the Just became Aranos the Fallen. With Os meaning crumbled and dark. Aranos the Fallen believed that the races were too weak to realize their imperfection. But he would make them strong, he would be the one to herald the races into perfection. Aranos then traveled Inad, searching for anything that could fulfill his vision, no tome was left untouched, no stone unturned. He finally found what he was looking for. An army that would obey without question. At age 61 in the year 448 he invaded the Bastion of Balbeh with his army. Victory at the bastion was swift and the invasion leveled the defending forces.
Thus began the war for Inad which lasted for 7 years until Aranos crushing defeat at the Edur Mountain in Cyrril. This is where his story ends, or is it....

Personal history
As mentioned in many historical records Aranos was born in southern Cyrril.
The signs that he was special revealed themselves at a very young age. He could speak fluent common at age 1, he was able to read only 6 months later. He forged his first sword at 5 and casted his first spell around the same time. His father being very pleased with his child prodigy admitted Aranos for training at the citadel of Mary where Aran learned swordsmanship as well as tactical training in which he graduated at the age of 14 at the top of his class.
He later became a known knight of honor, his moniker the boy with a golden heart. He made it his vow to pledge evil from the world. But when one travels the world they see much evil. Unlike his brethren Aran took it personally when evil was carried out. This feeling had always haunted Aran as a child and such he wished to purge the world from evil. His first step into the descent of evil began when he could not prevent an arson carried out by bandits. He tracked down every bandit and slayed them even if they dropped their blades and begged for mercy. Aran the Just reasoned that their souls were beyond redemption. This in fact broke one of the tenets of honor but the high council oversaw this due to Aran being such a successful and beloved knight. But from that day on Aran the Just changed, his methods became increasingly fueled by wrath, he did not give anymore second chances because of his newly acquired philosophy. "Evil deserves no second chances". He was no longer the merciful golden knight of the past. The council of honor were concerned with Aran but his achievements were undeniable. Aran ignited a crusade, a crusade against all evil.
Accomplishments & Achievements
It is said that Aranos once slayed a red dragon in single combat, he his also responsible for many of the Knight of Honors greatest achievements. He is the reason for their great influence in Fereldas. Aranos has also been to the farthest reaches of Amer in search for his army. He has wrestled Planetars into submission, dodged the arrow of a Solar and stared down a Nabassu. He has read many tomes of ancient lore. But his greatest achievement of all is his unyielding army which he created. He ravaged the lands of Fereldas, Cyrril and Thy'ken with his tactical genius. The Continent of Inad was on it's knees, without the lord of honor's intervention Aranos could not have possibly been defeated.
Failures & Embarrassments
Aranos greatest embarrassment was his crushing defeat at the halls of Edar in Cyrril. He made grave tactical errors when he underestimated the resolve of defeated men. This memory pains him. Another traumatising failure was his inability to save the village from bandits as mentioned before.

Aranos the Fallen envisions a world free of sin and crime. A world of perpetual order and law. He believes that the races are weak and imperfect but he will sort the wheat from the chaff, through his tests of war, famine and disease he will reveal the most perfect of people. Strong people don't wage war and commit crimes.
