Amelie Fairytale

Felix Andre, a transgender man, has partial amnesia, due to a car accident that also resulted in the death of his best friend. His forgotten memories include someone he'd pushed away due to the grief of the death of another close friend to him, prior to this accident. Years later, Felix is living in New York City. He's in nursing school, writing and composing stories, songs, and musicals in his spare time, and saving for top surgery. Unknown to him, this old friend graduates high school two years after him and moves to New York City, as well. Inspired by the unusual story of Amelie Poulain and Nino Quincampoix, one day they send a letter to Felix with no return address. The letter explains that Felix doesn't remember them but professing that they are in love with him. It is signed only 'A.' The letter contains a riddle-like clue of where to find them. Felix eventually follows this clue, finding himself on a cryptic scavenger hunt through Manhattan, attempting to locate this mysterious acquaintance.
