Despite being two feet and eleven inches tall, the character of Victor Vicario is larger than any halfling an inch taller than he. Victor is known around the city of Dollet and even a few further lands for his flamboyant character and fictional written works, many of which focus on mystical beasts, unknown terrors, distant lands filled with wonder, and experiences with alcoholic beverages the world over.

General Physical Condition

Victor is a lightfoot halfling and therefore quite nimble, though his excessive drinking and eating habits do show themselves now and again.

A long mustache curled on the ends.

Physical quirks

When discussing any topic at length, Victor tends to walk frantically, one hand held behind his lower back, the other repeating a circular motion. He does this regardless if he is stressed or relaxed.

Special abilities

It's no secret that Victor dabbles a small bit in the arcane arts, just enough to make someone who feels indifferent toward him behave like a close friend, for a short time, that is.

Apparel & Accessories

Not one to hide his acclompishments, Victor wears finer than average clothing and a few pieces of jewelry. His favorite attire, which he has a few of, is a golden and light purple pin-striped suit with puffy white cuffs around the wrists and ankles with brown, curl-towed dress-shoes.

Personal history

Victor Vicario was born like many halflings, in a somewhat secluded burrow safely hidden away from most dangers of the world. He grew up reading story-books sold by travelers and became enamored with discovering more of the wider world. This pursuit led him on many child-hood adventurers, some resulting in injury and the occassional scolding, but they were unable to deter him from packing his bags and settings forth when he was old enough to do so.

Employment

Victor is a self-employed author, speaker, and entertainer. The few arcane spells he knows are employed when on stage, especially if a guest is involved. He has a dozen books published under his name and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Victor's largest achievement to date is his latest work, titled Vicario's Guide to Monstrosities, a book detailing various strange and horrible beasts in distant lands that he has claimed to personally research, both on his own and through the aid of hired hands. Despite the subtext and his constant reassurance that the monsters detailed inside aren't actually real, many seeking to find such mad monsters become quite upset when they realize the book is merely ficticious.

Failures & Embarrassments

Victor's first few novelizations were not as successful as his latest. After his many travels, his first novel actually detailed the names, locations, and his own personal ratings of various brothels. This upset many of his kinfolk and a few others from various species, though he does occassionally find a fan of the work. In the time since, he has distanced himself from such intimate writings and instead focused on content that is both more relatable (typically in the form of alcoholic beverages) and awe-inspiring monsters.

Morality & Philosophy

Victor Vicario is a kind soul that can't stand to see harm befall one who doesn't deserve it. Having become quite the talker over the years, he doesn't hesitate to send a earful to the way of a guard abusing his power or a miscreant trying to lift a coinpurse. This has, however, resulted in a few altercations that Vicario had to separate himself from, those separations sometimes resulting in black eyes or broken noses.

Victor is good friends with Rami Everburn and a few of Rami's noble-hood friends and a playwright named Floon Bragmore, to name only a few. More recently, he encountered a few strange characters in the Drunken Serpent and enlisted them on a mission, which has resulted in a solid friendship. These individuals are Barry Brawns, Kiin Vidance, Jakob Tre'Laan, and the simple Violet.
