The Creed
From the last great human city of Doressan, the matriarchal Crown rules alongside the Creed, a pantheon of gods worshiped for their benevolence and justice. The power of the Crown wanes, and the voice of the Creed is little more than a strangled whisper.
The people of Amar say prayers to each of the seven faces of the Creed for different things. Churches dedicated to individual gods of the pantheon generally don't exist, usually the churches and temples are dedicated to the Seven as a whole with shrines to each of the seven gods within.
Believing that the old gods worshiped in the Age of Magic were the cause of the Sundering, the Dominion abandoned their worship of individual gods and the pantheon of the Creed was formed.
REPLACE: The Creed is the sanctioned religious organization that rules alongside the Crown. They worship a pantheon of seven gods who go by titles rather than names. They believe that giving a god a name is a bad omen.
They sanction and oversee all magic with the exception of the Veiled Mages (or Ordists). Anyone with the mark of magic on them is brought before a council of seven high priests to determine if they are a danger to the Dominions. If they are, they are branded, collared with an anti-magic device, and sent to labor camps. If they aren't, they are given a tattoo signifying they have the Mark of Magic upon them, but allowed to live freely.
Operate independent of the Crown. Disputes over territory and rule.
