"Amanria seemed to be the quintessential fantasy world, one that for whatever reason seemed to be inspired by works of fiction. I had to question for myself, what inspired what first? Was this a world created from our minds, or did it inspire us first?"

Amanria is the world the main character Ryan finds himself on under mysterious circumstances. A world of Vancian magic and adventure, a world of complex political intrigue, a world that matches and subverts expectations. There is no Dark Lord or Demon King, there is no hot-blooded youth seeking vengeance or strength, nor any powerful warriors punching their way through in the name of peace or justice. It is a world where anyone may seek fame and fortune, but the cost may be greater than anticipated.

Intended to be both a deconstruction and reconstruction of a standard fantasy setting, an exploration of what kind of world this would be, and what would happen when your standard outsider protagonist finds himself trapped in another world.
