Maelach Character in Amanor | World Anvil

Maelach

God of warfare and strategy, the eldest god of war in the Empyreal pantheon

Maelach is the eldest war god of the Empyreal Faith, the father of Galatea and Aegir. He is the commander of the military forces of the Empyreal Gods, directing their armies in the Divine Conflict against the various forces of evil arrayed against them. His domains are those of strategy, tactics and the art of war – the traits of great generals and conquerors – while his children represent the cardinal virtues of a soldier. He is worshipped mainly by soldiers and peoples of militaristic states.   Maelach is depicted as an old and battle-scarred man wearing impeccably detailed ceremonial armor with a spear and shield.
