Bahamut Character in Amanor | World Anvil

Bahamut

God of law and justice, father of all dragons

Bahamut is the God of Justice and Law as well as patron and progenitor of all dragons. He is said to have ascended from a mere dragon to godhood in times immemorial due to his unmatched virtue and unshakeable spirit. There are few dragons that would not venerate or at least acknowledge their god-ancestor, and he is also widely worshipped by mortal races. It is said that Bahamut gifted mortals with a moral code, dictating what is good and just, and that he gave their first fledgling civilizations divine tablets of law to help establish order in those ancient times.   Bahamut is depicted as a gold dragon of colossal proportions, towering above the tallest mountains and piercing the clouds with his horns and wings.
