Goddess of summer and birds

Alar is the Goddess of Summer and Birds. She is the mother and patron of all avian creatures and the bringer of warmth and the blooming season of summer. Alar is widely worshipped by druids, naturalistic communities and sylvan creatures, but civilized folk often pray to her to bless their harvests. Her followers are protectors of the natural world, and Alar grants them power to control plants of the earth and beasts of the air.
Alar is one of the most important deities worshipped in Caraegwyn; it is believed that she and the goddess Iona have blessed the land, giving it the warm and long summers it is known for.
