Dwarven Skyships

*Dwarven vessels are rather rare, given their tendency to dwell underground and create wide-spanning empires connected by tunnels. Though teleportation magic is far more common, dwarves still find the need to transport large amounts of goods and defend the same. No one wants to be left incapable of challenging air superiority.   Anvil (Planetary Defense Fighter from Hyperlanes, X-Wing from Star Wars) Size: Small Speed: 5 squares (FTL, space) AC: 19 HP: 330 Saves: Dexterity, Charisma, Constitution, Wisdom Cost: 150,000 gp Resistant to force damage Vulnerable to all damage from foes getting Help from two others Battle Station A: Piloting, Sensors, Gunnery Cannon 5/10, dealing 5d12 fire per hit. Grants the Hunt gambit.   Anvils are versatile and reliable craft that have seen service for centuries. Capable of FTL and boasting a potent weapon, most dwarves who need to travel the space lanes choose one of these over a shuttlecraft or larger escort. The most common upgrade is Mobility, but even the relatively slow speed doesn’t diminish dwarven pride in these machines. As defensive vessels, they are incredible fighters.   Mastodon (Bulk Freighter from Hyperlanes, YT-1300 Transport from Star Wars) Size: Large Speed: 3 squares (FTL, space) AC: 14 HP: 360 Saves: Strength, Intelligence, Constitution, Wisdom Cost: 120,000 gp Resistant to fire damage Vulnerable to all damage from foes getting Help from two others Battle Station A: Piloting, Sensors, Gunnery Laser Cannon 3/5, dealing 3d12 fire per hit. Grants the Side Swipe gambit. Battle Station B: Engineering, Piloting, Sensors Provides Liberation gambit Battle Station C: Gunnery Laser Cannon, 5/10, 3d12 fire damage on hit. Provides Dead Aim gambit.   Mastodons are popular craft among more than just dwarves, and given dwarven predilections, more of these are sold to other hands than remain among dwarves. Despite being unimpressive, these craft are versatile and responsive to customization.   The following war machines are almost unique to dwarves. Unlike the popular Mastodon craft, dwarven war machines are built with the defense of fixed positions in mind, which places little emphasis   Sentinel (Light War Machine, ‘UrbanMech’) Size: Huge Speed: 30 (Jump) AC: 16 HP: 210 Saves: Constitution, Wisdom Resistance: Thunder damage Cost: 150,000 gp Battle Station A: Piloting, Gunnery, Sensors, Engineering Autocannon: 5/10, 10d6 piercing. Grants Spray Fire gambit. If you roll a 1 on your attack, this Battle Station becomes Scrambled.   Griffin (Medium War Machine, ‘Griffin’) Size: Huge Speed: 75 AC: 17 HP: 250 Saves: Constitution, Wisdom Resistance: Thunder damage Cost: 250,000 gp Battle Station A: Piloting, Gunnery, Sensors, Engineering PPC: 6/12, 4d12 radiant. Grants Heavy Rocket gambit.   Sovereign (Assault War Machine, ‘BattleMaster’) Size: Gargantuan Speed: 60 AC: 20 HP: 410 Saves: Constitution, Wisdom, Strength Resistance: Thunder damage Cost: 450,000 Battle Station A: Piloting, Gunnery, Sensors PPC: 6/12, 4d12 radiant. Grants Seeker Missile (level 4) gambit. Battle Station B: Gunnery, Engineering Med. Lasers: 4/8, 6d12 fire. Grants Thunderwave (4x4) gambit
