Altran 5

Sephran; a broken world discovered during the days of the fading expansion, dominated by a large central continent known as Altran-5. This mostly desolate landmass is home to the grand sky cities of the highly technical Skyros, ruling over the land with constantly developing weapon systems which they use to protect and rule over the sectorial clans people of the ground folk who live their lives in small villages or cities, scraping a living from the wastelands or joining the military to escape the squalor. In addition to the UPASC (United Protectorate of Altranian Sectors and Cities) There are two forbidden lands: the wasteland beyond the wall, hazardous to humanity and full of great robot-like creatures, collectively known as dreads, unknown in power or origin these creatures exist as much as legend as it remains one of few uniting factors for the UPSAC with its southern neighbours. The Southern Confederacy, mysterious and isolated, behind the great mountains lies a fortified and independent nation, who control the last of the green lands on the continent surface in the mountains that are their home, to the outside world they seem, unfriendly, close-minded and vastly outdated in their technology, only existent because of the benevolence of the Skyros, but such is only rumors and lies, there is power in those mountains, ancient and terrible, and the southerners are its will.
