The Honorable Dispute Over the Throne of the Pentonian Empire

The war between the Kings of Coin and Blades, two would-be claimants to the throne each backed by a different division of the church. The King of Ships had died, leaving no male heir, only a daughter, and Coin and Blades where his two closest living male relatives. The war raged on for years, until the two kings met for a truce at the castle. Over dinner, the King of Ships' daughter poisoned them both, and had her assassins dispatch their top generals. She became the first woman to take the throne, and is now known by the title The Queen of Whispers.
