Clan Ashisoma

A northern Ryokikan samurai clan traditionally tasked with subduing the Hokubasei. Centuries ago, their leader was given the title of Shogun, at the time simply meaning "barbarian-queller". When The Yorikama Shogunate took power, they took up the long-unused title to legitimize their authority. Since then, Ashisoma Nobitsuru has rebelled, attempting to reclaim the traditional title and ancestry of the Shogun along with the benefits established by the Yorikama. Now, Clan Ashisoma heads The Ashisoma Shogunate, and is waging war across Ryokiku to try and seize control.
