Alternative Timeline Earth

A lot about this Earth is the same, with a few small tweaks in history that have shaped everybody's relationship with their government rather differently. In this "alternative America", a lot more tragedy has befallen, resulting in even MORE terrorist attacks, even MORE political assassinations etc. that have left its people in a tailspin. When the current POTUS is murdered and his own VP is discovered to be behind the heinous plot, America is suddenly out of a leader and chaos sends the whole political climate spinning. People are looking for structure, balance, and most importantly: answers.   The Presidential Succession Act forbids that the natural born successor of the late POTUS take their place, but with everything spun on its head, the SOTH decides to bend the rules in order to reach the American People more, by giving them a more youthful, more appealing face in the former of Killian Latrell.
