Leande
Leande is a city in the Do'kerei Mage Society.
It is situated at the exit of the pass that connects the society's lands with the rest of Western Tyria.
Before the mages took over, it used to be a small town, whose primary services were lodging and transport for travelers coming through the pass. When the mages from The Scarlet Spire shut their gates to anyone not invited, the capital of the region, Lavixys became overcrowded. Many who couldn't take the rapidly rising cost of living in the city chose to leave for Leande in hopes that they could secure their livelihood there. The population quickly grew, and Leande soon turned into a bona-fide city.
Currently, aside from providing services such as food and lodging, the city has expanded into trade, travel, and mercenary services.
