Causes

Drinking alcohol

Symptoms

Nausea, drowsiness, sensitivity to light, dehydration, and a headache.

Treatment

There is no medicine specifically created for use against hangovers, but treatments used for alleviating specific symptoms help. The hangover will pass eventually, and drinking plenty of water will help.

Prevention

Don't drink in the first place and you have no chance of getting it. However, drinking water or soft drinks in between drinks will help, as will drinking water before bed. Don't drink on an empty stomach, and stop drinking at least an hour before bed.
