Jaoel was massive, tall and very muscular. He had achieved peak human strength and went beyond after taking on the strength of his foes.

Personal history
Jaoel the Proud was an Angel of the Abyss during the New Calamity. Who he was before he was reborn as his angel form is unknown but that life ended for Jaoel to be born. Jaoel was a fierce warrior who could easily overpower most foes that he faced, his arrogance and pride in battle gave him the title as the proud. His pride was not only part of his personality, but also made into a power and weakness. When Jaoel met challenging warriors who were more skilled than him, his pride could take a physical manifestation around him as armor which would protect him, but each time it happened it took a great toll on his psyche. He would go on to serve Beshaba as her general and a very important player in the defeat of Decaris. He fought and killed more dragonborns than any other angel, and even managed to kill a hero among the people at the time Frograx Tayker. His time fighting the dragonborns and enslaving them made him physically change to look like the dragonborn he defeated in battle as a show of his achievement and pride.
When the New Calamity came to an end and Decaris was freed and Beshaba slain, he and a few other Angels fled to a demon temple and laboratory known as Vordendun. The demons would bury the entrance to the temple, saving whatever projects were being worked on and burying themselves with them. The temple housed the offspring of Beshaba and Graz'zt which was supposed to be raised in Decaris but was taken to Vordendun for its protection. Jaoel and the other angels guarded the temple for centuries until it was finally opened from the outside. A group of adventurers including Yaxora Tayker who was a descendant of Frograx had made their way into the temple and breached the locked gates into their inner sanctuary where Jaoel waited. The battle which followed would end the remaining angels, including Jaoel who was slain by Yaxora.
