Personal history
Crawford was the second born child of king King Terrowin III Whitehall. He was because of this never tutored on royal etiquettes, but he was very good at mathematics and was facinated by stories of wizards and sorcerers. His facination with these people would eventually take over and at the age of 25 he would attend Shimmerford School of the Arcane Arts and study for 22 years, with focus on the arts of transmutation. During his stay at Shimmerford he fell in love with a woman named Yesrila who he later married and took back with him to Revendell. She was a natural born sorcerer with the ability to make illusions. Together they had two daughters, Arlhane and Darleen.
Crawford had little battle experience while studying at Shimmerford, but had experience a few close calls with either wandering creatures or more organized bandits. But that was nothing to what he faced during The Battle of Razor Hills. As a semi-powerful wizard he was asked by his father to join him as they needed all the fire power they could muster, as the good son he is he joined his father in the war. He would suffer great wounds and was lucky to make it out alive as Kazaktar made many attempts at the royal family during the battle. Crawford was on the first and only retreating parties that carried wounded back to Revendell. When he returned his arm had suffered to much damage and could not be fixed, even by the greater clerics the city had. It had to be chopped off. The surgery was well done by the physcians at their court, and within a few months the famous Alonzo Blaylock had been summoned and started working on a new arm for the prince. When the rest of the army came home and the grave news of his brothers deaths and his father he was broken for a long time, but he would support the rule of Thristvar II Whitehall when he was crowned king of Revendell.
