In Wyldenesia and until she went to Elseria, Colynn wore more form fitting and practical clothes. She wore a tighter yellow shirt, gray pants with many belts and pockets and had a yellow cloak which could be turned inside out to be a darker color. Personal history

Childhood

Colynn Novshade was born in A4 602 in Port.Khalazan in the Montlet Coast. She was born to Vichorn Novshade and Jensys Novshade who are prominent nobles and lords in the Montlet Coast. Colynn was the youngest of their five children and was born 16 years after her brother Keenan who she was closest with and more than 35 years after her older siblings Killian, Caroline and Kevros . Because of the huge age gap in her family, she had very little contact with her oldest siblings, but she had a close connection with Keenan who almost raised her himself as their parents were very busy with their business and attending noble events. The first five years of Colynn’s life were mostly spent with Keenan as he cared much for her, but an accident took place when she was five years old where Keenan was hit by an accidental blast of psychic energy by their older sister Caroline who was a purple born sorcerer who could not control her powers. The blast did not kill Keenan, but it did put him in a coma for 2 years where physicians would often fight to keep him alive. While unconscious, Colynn would sit with him almost every day waiting for him to wake. He eventually did, but when he woke up he was a very different person. Keenan used to play with her, teach her and care for her, but when he woke up he was different. He had little to no emotions nor interest in being her caretaker. He quickly grew impatient with her presence when she tried to be with her. This made Colynn’s life much more lonely and sad as she had nobody but her family’s servants to take care of her. Colynn also had a hard time making friends outside her family as they lived almost a day from Port.Khalazan and she was homeschooled. Their home got even more cold as just a few years later, both Keenan and Caroline left to go to Shimmerford. Colynn had also never met Kevros and Killian only came home for a few days each year.   When Colynn was nine, she got to meet her brother Kevros for the first time as he was done with his education in Fangorn. She was happy to meet her big brother as he had heard great things about her, but his arrival only made her parents more distant towards her as they were now busy teaching Kevros their trade. Kevros didn’t ignore Colynn on purpose, he did have moments with her where he enjoyed her company and tried to teach her things, but for most of the time he was busy with the family business. Kevros was also a bit disappointed that Colynn was not like her older sister Caroline who Kevros were best friends with during their childhood, he would often underestimate Colynn and therefore also stop spending much time with her as she grew up. As Colynn grew up alone and very bored, she started to go into her older siblings' old rooms, where she found many books and tomes which belonged to both Keenan and Caroline. They were books on the topics of the arcane from Shimmerford which they had left home as they had moved on from them. She wanted to become more like her older siblings and started reading them. Her knowledge over the arcane increased each year as new books were taken home and abandoned by her siblings and when she was 18 years old she could already cast 1st level spells by just reading the books. This talent was eventually seen by her parents who would sponsor her education at Shimmerford in Evlora and she would enlist at the school when she turned 24 years old. Colynn, like her siblings, was gifted when it came to learning and would quickly become enthralled by the many courses and schools of magic at Shimmerford. This interest made her stay at Shimmerford for long stretches before returning home, often staying away from the Montlet Coast for four years at a time.

Shimmerford

At Shimmerford, Colynn originally tried to follow in Caroline and Keenan’s footsteps, but both were busy with their own classes and teaching at the school. Caroline also left a year after Colynn arrived as she had been recruited to The Arcantory Institution, she had also taken up the name Entropy instead of Caroline. Keenan was so far beyond Colynn in their education and because of this they never talked much. Colynn spent her first few years trying to figure out what she wanted to become and which school or magic she wanted to learn. During this time she met another student by the name Andrew Harridan who became friendly with her and started helping her out with her choices and spent much time with her. He was a very charming individual who seemed to take much interest in Colynn and wanted to spend much time with her, not just at school but outside as well. The two grew closer over the next months and eventually got together. Colynn was really happy for some time as she had found someone she liked and she had found a school of magic which intrigued her. The school of invention became her favorite and she and Andrew would both attend. Their teacher Hubrek Ebonheart was also a very friendly man who Colynn liked. Her progress with magic rapidly increased and within a month of meeting Andrew and attending Hubrek’s classes, she had learnt the 2nd circle of magic. Things also got more and more serious with Andrew and Colynn had become really infatuated with him. One night when things got really serious with Andrew and they were about to take the next step in their relationship, they were barged in on by four other students who began to laugh at Colynn. The other students were some of the more popular students at the school who Colynn had never really spoken to. She was surprised and angry, but quickly became heartstruck when Andrew also began to laugh with them. He got dressed and stood up over her while casting a spell, dispelling the charm he had put on her for these last months. Colynn became confused, desperate, disorientated and saddened all at once, she did not understand what had happened or what she really felt. She still felt something for Andrew, something they recognized in her eyes which made them laugh at her even more. Andrew eventually stopped laughing and cockily explained that he was dared to spend all this time with Colynn and see how far he could get, during that time he had also used enchantment on her to make it easier, though he claimed it was more to test it on her for fun as he did not need it on her. The bet was supposed to have him go all the way with her, but he thought it would be more fun to leave her in such an exposed position in front of his friends. The students eventually left and Colynn was left to herself once again, but now with new feelings of betrayal, distrust and sadness. The feeling of being used and manipulated by Andrew would never really leave Colynn’s mind.   Colynn continued to stay at Shimmerford, even though she had considered leaving at many points after Andrew. She continued with her invention classes, but would show up less as Andrew continued to go to her class. Hubrek noticed her absence and would consult Colynn about her position and when she opened up to him about what she had gone through, Hubrek supported her and would go on to teach her on the side. He also had Andrew expelled from Shimmerford as he was also the enchantment teacher at the school who had taught him the magic and was very strict on the rules that one does not use charms on fellow students without consent. Hubrek would go on to teach Colynn after his classes in private as she had a hard time being social after the event. Hubrek took her under his wing and would help her with invention, but also teach her how to counter or notice charms better. He also taught her a few enchantment spells and noticed how easy they were for Colynn in comparison to all other schools of magic. Hubrek went on to teach her more about enchantment and she would learn it with ease. Colynn was not very enthusiastic about enchantment after what she had gone through, but she did notice how easy it was for her and that she had some talent in the school which she lacked in others. She begrudgingly continued learning from Hubrek until she had learnt the 3rd circle of magic and was now a very dedicated enchanter. During this time, Colynn also met with both Ambrose Locket and Lycia Sangerny a couple who she shared some classes with. The two would go on to be expelled by the school in A4 631 when they killed two students and Lycia was killed by the Archmage of Necromancy Zadimus Hellgave and Ambrose Locket was put in jail at Autumn Rock (something which she would later learn was his simulacrum as they became enemies).   Years passed at Shimmerford and Colynn continued with both invention and enchantment until A4 635 when Hubrek Ebonheart left Shimmerford to be part of the Arcantory Institution. This upset Colynn quite a bit, but he promised to stay in touch and she already knew the new Archmage of Enchantment Jhorlee Ashblood. The next years of Colynn’s life at Shimmerford was filled mostly with studying, but she managed to gain some friends at the school and she was respected by many of the teachers because of her admirable dedication. Colynn would take many lessons with other teachers to widen her horizons, one of these teachers, Zadimus Hellgave was the archmage of necromancy at the school and often viewed as an outcast, especially after killing one of his students. Colynn spent some time with Zadimus as he was an interesting person, she even left an impression on him as she tried to cheer him up at times and give him fashion advice, because of this, he would begin wearing a yellow belt on him in honor of her advice.

Killian

In A4 640, Colynn and her siblings were invited home to the Montlet Coast as Killian was going to host a special celebration on Calamity day, which is also Colynn’s birthday. Colynn was curious and intrigued as she hoped it was some special birthday party for her, but didn’t get her hopes too high. The journey home was quick as her brother Keenan teleported her home with him, this was the first time Colynn had seen her brother in over a year as Keenan finished his education at Shimmerford the year before and had started his own business in Cullfield. Their brother Killian was very different from every other sibling, he was extremely charismatic and charming. He enjoyed the world and its people and most of his time was spent journeying and using his money to see the world and catalogue it. He had no ambition when it came to the academic or arcane like his siblings and he had no interest in the family business, except for the money it generated which he could use for his own interests. None in their family judged Killian for his low ambition as he was the most reliable person when he was around, he would help each of his siblings, even Colynn when he was around and he was very liked among them because of it. The reunion of the siblings started nice as each had accomplished much since their last meeting and there were many stories to tell, but as the evening went on, Colynn and her siblings began to see through Killian’s facade. He was not himself and had been asking questions which would in isolation not be questionable or suspicious but his continued questioning of magical potency among his siblings and their achievements became more and more frequent. Entropy was the first to call him out and ask for his intention, and Kevros quickly got their parents out of the room as he began to threaten their legacy. Killian was always looked upon as a charming, but harmless individual, but his eyes were now filled with anger and spark of energy which was unknown to all of the remaining siblings. He revealed that he had found a higher being who told him about his potential and that he needed to gain power to stand up to be ready for what was to come. Killian then unleashed magical attacks targeted at his siblings. Colynn, Entropy and Keenan mostly deflected what he was throwing at them, but he began to overwhelm them and cause serious damage. They had to work together to bring him down, something which they had never done but they figured out while they were at it. Entropy was the one to match him the most, but Keenan managed to help protect both Entropy and Colynn as his powers were very focused on protection. As the battle heated up, Entropy’s powers became more uncontrollable and her chaotic magic began to bleed from her manipulation of the weave. This ended with a buildup of chaotic energy which released towards Killian and overwhelmed him, when the energy had been released, nothing was left of Killian, but they figured he was not dead, just banished, but none knew where. The siblings had survived, but would swear to never talk about this to anyone except their family as it would look bad on everyone. Anyone who asked them about Killian would simply be answered that he is on a journey, and those who never knew about him in the first place would not be told they had a third brother.

Adventurers

In A4 648 a new group of people arrived at Shimmerford. Illidan Windsor, Yaxora Tayker and Zairo came to Shimmerford and Illidan and Zairo became members of Shimmerford. Colynn had recently gotten a few new friend including Burr Roc and Rowan Bowin and through them became quick friends with the new students. They were good people and seemed to like Colynn with no judgment or skepticism. She spent much time with Illidan specifically and when he became the new apprentice of Zadimus, she spent time with both of them. They were adventurers, something Colynn had never thought of herself doing, but she was invited to join them at one of their smaller adventurers where they were stopping goblins who were about to attack a settlement close to Evlora. Colynn joined them though she was very scared and was unsure if she did it because she wanted to not disappoint her new friends or if it was something she herself actually wanted to do. The battle against the goblins was though but they came out on top and Colynn actually enjoyed herself. When they returned to Shimmerford they continued to learn at Shimmerford while the others did a few dangerous tasks around the city. During one of these tasks, Zadimus was killed and Illidan who was a trained cleric failed to bring him back with the spells he had. Colynn felt bad for him and she herself felt the loss of Zadimus heavy as she liked him as well. She knew that he had been working on some spells and together with Illidan they managed to make a new spell known as Hellgave’s Life Trade which they used together to resurrect Zadimus. Colynn felt very accomplished in doing so and with the help of Illidan and more field experience had achieved the 4th circle of magic.   Colynn also became much closer with Keenan after meeting the adventurers as they knew him and were friendly with him. Because of her connection with them and his interest in their exploits, Colynn and Keenan had something to bond over and they began spending some time together. Illidan, Yaxora and Zairo were sent on tasks from the king of Evlora Lawrence Lionel Lockhart II to travel to Revendell. Colynn did not join this journey as she had things to figure out with herself and what she wanted to do onward, but she would continue her friends exploits while they were away. They were gone for months before returning, on their journey they had done what the king wanted, but they had also gone through a massive loss Stonehill where the entire village had been destroyed by Condrenth The Plague King who they originally killed, but was resurrected as the purple night hit the day after he had been slain. Zairo had also been killed in the fight and resurrected at the cost of becoming a tiefling. They had also made an enemy in Black Talon who was a corrupted servant of The Raven Queen who targeted “Death walker” who was a term for those who had died but been resurrected. She was happy to see that they were back and during their next months of being mostly in Evlora and training, she had started gaining feelings for Illidan who she had spent much time with. She was unsure how to go about her feelings as she had previously been very hurt by Andrew, so she decided to take it slow to protect herself and not make anything awkward between her and her new friends.   In A4 649, Illidan, Yaxora and Zairo saved Lawrence and his daughter Marcella Lockhart and was given Brinehold a small settlement only a few days south of Evlora. It would become their new home and it was close enough to Shimmerford that Colynn could spend much more time with the party. They had also planned a new large expedition to The Tower of Wonder which was a legendary tower only known in stories which was owned by Traberion Amonar the first Archmage of Transmutation at Shimmerford. Both Keenan and Entropy was involved in finding the tower and Colynn helped as much as she could, but did not want to go to the tower as it was also known as the “The Arcanist's End” since so many wizards and arcanists had died or never return when trying to find it. When her friends began their journey she hoped they would be back in a month or two, but this would not be the case.

Wyldenesia

Colynn believed her friends to come back within weeks of their leaving, but the weeks turned to months and after half a year, most believed them to be victims of the Tower of Wonder like the many before them. Colynn never stopped believing in them, but understood the possibility of them never returning. She had been living in Brinehold during their expedition and taking care of Yaxora’s adopted child sorcerer Tupp as Colynn could relate to being a special child and being alone, but she eventually wanted to do something to make herself prepared and stronger for when her friends returned so that she could accompany them more in the future. Shimmerford had an offer for any arcanist to travel to the continent of Wyldenesia to explore and catalogue information from the new continent. Colynn volunteered for this expedition and would set sail for the continent. The boat ride took almost four months, but they arrived at the Trugarian Empire’s new settlement on the continent Wyldeheart. She was also given a personal guard and ranger to guide her through the continent. His name was Royce Earnest who was a well traveled man and a strong fighter. The two would explore ruins on the continent in hopes of learning about ancient civilizations and hope to learn magical secrets of these people and these lands. They would spend months together in the forests, discovering new flora and fauna, including creatures thought long dead like many types of dinosaurs. The continent was a truly amazing new land which had incredible sights. Colynn and Royce eventually found one of these larger ruins which seemed to be an old temple of sorts. It had a massive dungeon beneath it which they explored together. It was filled with ancient texts she could not understand and many artifacts of what seemed to be an old civilization. They continued through and maneuvered around traps and puzzles until they found a shrine of an unknown entity. On the shrine was a floating rune with symbols she also could not understand. She picked it up and upon touching it she heard a voice which bargained with Colynn, it would give her answers and powers which could help her reach the potential of her friends and aid them, but it said nothing of what it wanted in return. Colynn was curious and scared of the rune, but accepted. She does not remember much of what happened directly after as she fell unconscious but when Royce woke her up she could read the rune and it only said “Wisdom”. They made their way back through the temple and she found that she could now read the ancient texts which talked about prophecies. She understood that the rune had given her the ability to read not only dead languages but all languages. This made her job easier in Wyldenesia as any old texts she and Royce found, they could now translate and take back with them.   Colynn spent a few more months in Wyldenesia after receiving the Wisdom rune with Royce. During these months they found few ruins, but they spent much of their time exploring the wilds and enjoying themselves. Colynn enjoyed her time with Royce a lot, but she kept wondering how her friends in the Tower of Wonder were doing a lot. It was therefore very relieving to hear Illidan’s voice through a sending spell after almost two and a half years of them being away. He told her that they had returned are were okay. Colynn immediately went back to Wyldeheart with Royce and prepared to return to Brinehold where they were meeting. Royce was going to stay in Wyldenesia and hoped to see Colynn again in the future as they made a good team. That night Colynn had a nightmare which was unlike anything else she had felt before. In it her brother Keenan was killed by a necromancer riding a black wyrm out of a black hole. She thought nothing of it at the time and was too busy returning to her friends in Brinehold to mention it. She could get herself to Brinehold instantaneously as she had learnt the 5th and 6th circle of magic while in Wyldensia which meant she could now teleport to established teleportation circles around the world. When she returned they told her about the many things they had discovered in the tower and that for them it only felt like a month. They also introduced Colynn to Maxeena Tandenzel an arcanist who had been trapped in the tower for around 200 years. Colynn recognized the name as she had read some of her books. The party also brought back many books and notes in Dentreene which was an ancient and dead language only a handful people in the world could read, but with her new abilities she could help the party understand them. Colynn would tell her friends what had been going on while they were away and continue to hear of their stories as she also shared hers, she also proclaimed that she would join them more often now that she had toughened up and become more powerful.

Back Together

Colynn would now journey with her friends as they were back. She would join most of their exploits as long as they wanted her with them and she felt comfortable with what they were doing. She had gotten much better at fighting and she had learnt more spells that could deal damage or help in those situations. She and Illidan also got closer as he invited her on a date in Evlora. The date also made her open up more to Illidan, telling him about what she had previously experienced when it came to Andrew and her family life, even what happened to her brother Killian. He cared for her and listened to her, even sympathizing at many points, something she had never had anyone do for her.   Her friends would go through some rough times now they were back from the tower of wonder. Illidan and Zairo would both die within the first months back. The villain Black Talon had killed Zadimus while they were gone and while tracking him down they were caught off guard by his new ally Shareen The Cursed Shadow. Illidan fell to Black Talon as he was thrown down a massive quarry, but he was brought back in a ritual which Colynn contributed to. Zairo was also killed only three days later by King Lawrence Lockheart who beheaded him with his vorpal sword under the influence of a new villain Wysteria Heartstone.

The Dawnblade

After Zairo was brought back, they understood that they needed to become more powerful so they decided to travel with Thurgar Stonehand and his husband Sylwar Regimore to the primordial forge to reforge the legendary vestige known as the Dawnblade. They fought their way through duergar who had taken control of both the forge and its protector, an ancient earth elemental which controlled the forge. They managed to free it and Colynn together with the blacksmiths managed to reforge the blade and breathe life into the vestige once more. This was one of the most impressive feats of Colynn’s life as her invention training and education finally paid off with an incredible feat which would go down in history as she had her name written on the wall of the forge together with ancient blacksmiths and inventors who had done similar acts.

The Black Hole

Colynn, Illidan, Yaxora and Zairo were ambushed only days after reforging the Dawnblade while at Keenan’s tower by Xander Brook who destroyed the tower with a black hole and rode in on a dark wyrm. They fought and killed him but Colynn’s brother Keenan was slain by Zairo mind controlled and wielding a Sacrifical Daggers which meant that he was gone for good and could not be brought back. This broke Colynn’s heart but she had no time to grieve as Ambrose Locket used this opportunity to take Xander’s artifacts and face the party for the first time now incredibly powerful and enhanced by the items he had stolen. This would potentially have been the end of them all, if Zairo had not used a powerful artifact to change one of his decisions in the flow of time, the moment Xander attacked. Because of this, only a few people remember the alternate timeline where Keenan died and Ambrose became very powerful, Colynn was one of these people.

The Wall and Rebellion

With the information they had gotten from Xander and Ambrose, everyone began planning for what was to come and the group split up while taking some time for themselves. They gathered items and artifacts for what was to come, Colynn and Maxeena also became good friends during all of this and they had been fighting side by side. Both of them sent out on a taks with the other as they were going to fight Clad Silvarno who was a powerful mobster who they were tasked to kill by The Poet. Before making their way to him, Maxeena fell ill as she suffered from frostbite and hypothermia, which meant that they were one person down before entering the fight against him. The battle which came was brutal and a slaughter. Colynn would not survive the battle as Clad used her against Illidan as he had pissed him off. Clad broke Colynn’s neck and ripped it off with her spine, leaving her body torn, broken and in pieces. This would not be the end of Colynn however, she was brought back by Ubahn Antique who had to use his Wish spell to replicate Hellgave’s Life Trade to bring her back. Her friends tried to bring her back multiple times and it was apparently incredibly difficult and it weighed heavy on Illidan. Colynn was happy to be back and appreciated all the hardship they had gone through, but needed a break from adventuring, which was badly timed as her friends were just about to go fight in The Whitehall Rebellion. They understood and she remained in Brinehold with Maxeena who also rejected joining because she was pregnant at the time, which she kept secret for a long time.

The Mishap

Her friends returned victorious from the rebellion and were given a new estate in Revendell by the name the Emerald Estate. They were also given the official title Defenders of Revendell by the new king Victravor Whitehall. They took some time for themselves after the rebellion, and one of the things Yaxora wanted to do was spend time with Celthis Gixsther who lived in Cullfield. She needed Colynn’s help to get there and she begrudgingly accepted to use her 7th circle spell to get her there after having just learnt it. She had not teleported properly yet, and her first time with the spell caused them much mishap as they both almost died due to wrongly teleporting and eventually ending up in the Stonefields. They were stuck there, close to Condrenth’s lair and not prepared to battle. Colynn managed to contact Zairo and Illidan who made their way to Facerax and met with the resurrected Vergunaamuranth an ancient green dragon who had originally died thousands of years ago. She made a bloodpact with Zairo that she would save Colynn and Yaxora in exchange for her daughter’s life. Colynn and Yaxora were grabbed by the dragon and flown out of the Stonefields back to Facerax and brought back to Brinehold, safely.

The Bargaining Chip

While her friends were fighting the rebellion and after learning about Vergunaamuranth after she had saved Colynn and Yaxora, Colynn had begun to read over new notes which were brought back from Facerax which her friends had been to while she was dead. They had fought Ambrose and Thrusk the Survivor while there and learnt about Evrac Varcilius and the ancient kingdom of dragons known as Vacerak. The research they brought told her all about his experiments and even though they were written in a dead version of elvish and in code, she and Zairo managed to decode them together. While she was decoding the notes with Zairo, Illidan had gone to meet with Ambrose as he wanted to talk about a cease fire after being sent to the Nine Hells by them previously. Illidan did not bite and took advantage of his poor state and killed him. They all hoped this would be the last they heard from them, but only a few days later they attacked their home and kidnapped Colynn while she was sleeping. Ambrose had been resurrected by a curse put on him on his death unknowingly by Illidan and was now a revenant. They had taken Colynn to trade with Illidan, Ambrose wanted him to resurrect Lycia, his dead girlfriend in the body of a commoner who had died in exchange for Colynn. Illidan went through with the trade and Colynn was brought back to her friends.

The Swallower

After dealing with Ambrose, they would go and settle things in Warlough Slugh as there was a dragon there which had been raiding Redwater. They all went together and fought the dragon, sending his corpse to the Aurum Assemble for extra payment and for research reasons. They also found a set of eggs in his lair which they had disintegrated with the help of Maxeena.

The Underdark

After dealing with Karthuz and having the Arcantory Institution check up on Brinehold and the results from the Tower of Wonder, Colynn and her friends traveled to the Andürin Dominion as Mara Merwild a friend Illidan, Yaxora and Zairo had saved during the purple plague in A4 652 wanted their help as a friend of hers had gone missing. They traveled to the Calareen Circles in Farendale and from there went to the missing persons home outside the city is an area known as the “Far Lands''. There they met with Riza Lorens and her daughter who told them that her husband had been taken and they didn’t know who had done it and no clues were left behind. They followed up on what she said and found where he had been taken. They found clues and followed them through the forests of the Dominion until they reached Nevae Scennel, an underground sinkhole which drops down into the underdark. They understood now that whatever had taken Riza’s husband was from deep below the surface and it was going to be more difficult than originally thought. They made their way down the sinkhole and found a settlement known as Druunheim. The city was one for outcasts and people wanting to get away from their life above ground. It was not a hostile place, but definitely a sketchy one. During their stay, they learnt where they could find Evrac’s vault where he had escape to after the fall of his queen Vergunaamuranth more than 3000 years ago. While Colynn’s friends went to his resting place, she had made contact with an arcanist in Drunheim who had an experimental surgery which could increase her magical potency by inserting a druun metal shard into her forearm. She learnt there were many potential outcomes and consequences, but Colynn accepted in hopes of getting stronger. The surgery was incredibly painful and drawn out, but she survived it and the shard gave her magic more power. Her friends also returned alive, but during their venture into the vault, Illidan had found Evrac’s sentience and gotten it into his mind. He now shared his body with Evrac Varcilius the ancient arcanist who fought for control.

Evas Anora

Before leaving Druunheim to go deeper into the underdark, they met a mercenary by the name Luther Benson. He was a very experienced kor who was sent by the Calareen Circles to find the same person they were looking for. He joined them and they continued down into the underdark. They traveled for days before finding a ruin of an old drow city, Evas Anora was an old slave breaking city which they went on to explore. Within they found many artifacts of the ancient race, they also found Meshoch Iride one of the greatest heroes of Dürthang who now had been turned to a drider like being. He tried to trick the party, but they managed to slay him and let the cursed being find peace in death. They also found a statue of a drow woman which turned out to be a petrified drow. Her name was Imrea A'Daragon and she was the daughter of Malice A’Daragon who ruled Evas Anora in its prime. She had been petrified to hopefully be freed and save her race. They didn’t trust her at first, but when Illidan fell to his death in one of the towers in Evas Anora and she resurrected him with the help of the elvish goddess Eilistraee she had quickly earned their trust. She took them to the vault of Evas Anora where they met Kezmyr A'Daragon who was her father who had also survived all this time by being turned into a lich. He gave them the Clapper of the Bell of Deliverance which they needed to take to Cheldulnar, the old capital to the Vlorissehmth drow empire.

Doresain

As they made their way through the underdark, Illidan was contacted by an avatar locked deity who had made the underdark his home. Doresain the king of ghouls wanted them out of his domains, but they continued anyway, leading to assault after assault of ghouls who wanted to kill them and take Illidan back to their kingdom so he could be made into a gravewalker ghouls under Doresain’s control. They managed to fight them and keep them at bay, but this threat made them travel through a shortcut in the underdark. A flux blighted jungle which reeked with dangerous animals and creatures. They were met by more ghouls and a legendary goristro by the name Garganoth, but they made quick work of him as he was banished back to the abyss which he longed after. They eventually got out of the jungle and were chased by ghouls and had a close encounter with a nightwalker. They made it to the ocean that connected to Cheldulnar and met with a githyanki warrior who was fighting the machine that had kidnapped Riza’s husband. They had little time to chat with each other as ghouls chased them so Kith'rak Qarste joined them as they fled into the ocean and towards the capital.

Cheldulnar

When they made their way to Cheldulnar, they saw that the ruined city was filled with quaggoths and mind flayers. They moved around the city and took out as many quaggoths as they could stealthily before making their way to the barracks where Riza’s husband was held captive. They had to fight mindflayers to free him but were successful and managed to free him. They were all shocked when they saw him as he was a drow. His name was Rhazzad Lorens and he explained that he was not from this plane and he had been living mostly in secret for years. He had little time to explain as he had a mindflayer tadpole in his head and was going through metamorphosis. He said he had a way out but they had to retrieve his scepter which was stolen from him by the leader of the mindflayers in the room where the elder brain was located, but before they could do that, Imrea went with Illidan to ring the bell of deliverance. They made their way to the bell and rang it which could be heard all throughout the underdark, they then made it to the elder brain together and were quickly overwhelmed by the amount of mind flayers, quaggoths and fomorians. The battle was long, but they managed to kill the mind flayers and the elder brain before leaving Imrea and Luther in the underdark as they wanted to wait for the drow while they used the scepter to teleport, Qarste also did not make it as she had her brain sucked out by the mind flayers while fighting with them. Rhazzad used the scepter and they were all transported to a beautiful forest with pink leaves.

Elseria

When Colynn and her friends woke up in the pink forests, they were curious where they had landed on Aloth, but Rhazzad told them that they were no longer in Aloth, nor their own realm. They had traveled to his home realm and his version of the prime material plane known as Elseria, and they had specifically landed on the continent of Kokuguawa near the city Banashu in the Nishi kingdom. In addition to being far from home and on an entirely different realm, most of their equipment and magic from Aloth did not work in this realm and none could channel their magic and Illidan could not feel the presence of his god The Guardian. Colynn and her friends took in the view of this beautiful new world while making their way towards civilization. Their first night in the new realm was very eventful, as Yaxora was taken captive by a group of bandits, but managed to escape. They then went back to the bandits together and fought them, the group was led by a very powerful elf called Aldrin Blackbarrel, he was wielding unknown technology which shot pellets of metal at them. He was also working with an arcanist who had managed to absorb magic from the Dawnblade and use it against them. The battle was tedious and difficult as nobody had their usual abilities, but they managed to capture both the leaders of the bandits, but at the cost of Zairo’s life. He was luckily resurrected by Illidan while channeling a new god, Pelor. They also found out that the bandits had kidnapped the princess Yamaiko Nakahara of the Nishi kingdom. They freed her and took her back to Banashu where they were seen as heroes and given free stay and the Hirokot, a house given to heroes of the city.   While in Banashu, everyone takes some time to themselves as attempts to fix Rhazzad’s scepter as it was mostly broken before they traveled through the realms, but on impact in Banashu it was completely broken and in need of repair. Colynn changed her style in Banashu, opting to wear a yellow kimono with a green girdle, she also spent much time trying to relearn how to cast simple spells in Elseria as she had to be accustomed to the weave once again, but she had much experience and it was something she was able of slowly doing, but they would have to stay for months if she were to come back to full power, something they did not plan of doing. Colynn also spent much time with Illidan in Elseria and they shared their first kiss together out in a beautiful garden during the evening after going out on a date. This moment gave Colynn immense hope for the future as her feelings were proven right and Illidan showed his true feelings back to her which made her certain that she was finally with someone who truly cared for her. Rhazzad’s condition also worsen by the hour and since nobody had any guaranteed way of saving his life, they instead killed Rhazzad which forced the tadpole out, killed it and resurrected Rhazzad, something which worked but took a heavy toll on Rhazzad who was already weakened by the parasite.   While staying in Banashu, Zairo drew a card from his deck of many things which was a powerful artifact of trickery and lost his soul to an unknown entity on a different plane of existence. This shocked the group as they were incredibly weak and unable to locate the soul on their own. Rhazzad did know people on the plane who had had originally been with when he first arrived in Aloth, leaving them behind, but he was unsure how many were alive and if they would even respond to him if he called out, but he took the chance anyway in hopes of gaining their help in the matters relating to Zairo’s whereabouts. Luckily for them, some of them reached out and they showed up within a few days. Four people showed up, Mira Tenebrae, Eclipse Duskfall, Elwin Merryweather and Shultan Crownkin. Mira was a powerful arcanist and wizard who had several artifacts in her possession, including the eye of the Whispered one which was an item they would quickly learn had possessed her, and within the first hour of meeting them, they had to fight for her freedom from the eye. They managed to pluck it out and save her, which made her want to help them. Her friends Elwin and Eclipse had business elsewhere, but Shultan joined them for a hefty price as he was a very powerful mercenary. Coylnn would not join them on the mission to retrieve Zairo as she could not yet even cast 1st circle spells and would therefore be more of a liability than any aid. She instead would help Rhazzad in their new home and study a new artifact which they had found in a vault belonging to Aldrin, The Eye of Dendar.   While her friends went into the Shadowfell to fight an entity known as The Collector who worked for this realm’s version of the Raven Queen, she stayed back and identified The Eye of Dendar which was an incredibly powerful magical artifact which had almost caused the end of the realm in a battle only thirty years before they arrived there. It had immense control over nightmares and minds and was focused on enchantment, something which made it very easy for Colynn to learn its abilities and secrets. She had been asked by her friends not to attempt to use it, which she respected for now, but became very enticed by its promise of power. She would however not spend that much time with the eye while her friends were away as Zairo’s living, but soulless body still needed to be kept alive and she stayed by her side for almost a week while the others fought for his soul. Zairo would eventually wake up and she would be the first to greet him when he woke. The other returned eventually and had defeated The Collector and helped others on their way, including a veteran adventurer by the name Winston Rachendale who had been stuck in the Shadowfell for decades.   During the time it took to retrieve Zairo’s soul, Rhazzad had figured out the best way to fix the scepter. He was in need of an artifact known as the Crystalized Skull of the Outsider. It was an item he had originally asked Mira’s group to retrieve for him, but ended with half her friends dead and him saving himself by leaving for Aloth by accident. Mira and Shultan would join them on this mission while Colynn would stay back with Zairo as he needed time to recover. They waited patiently for their return and they would be rewarded as they returned only a few days later having gotten the skull and already tested the scepter by going back to Aloth. They had also resurrected a member of Mira’s old group, Belorin, who would join them back to Aloth as his past in this realm haunted him and he wanted a new start. Everyone had a big meal together in the home of Mira and her friends before leaving Elseria where they bonded and had a good time.

Continued Adventure

When they all returned to Aloth, they were given rewards for helping Rhazzad and learnt much about his past. They also had to help Belorin find his way in this new world and were updated about what had happened while they were away. There was much to do and little time to do it all. They also brought back three artifacts from Elseria, The Eye of the Whispered one, The Eye of Dendar and a copy of Mira’s book, the Dark Arcananomicon. Both the eyes disappeared when they returned to Aloth which Colynn got quite mad at since she was hoping to research it and eventually use it herself, but she had a plan which she would act on later.

The Wall Again

When everyone returned back to Aloth, it did not take long before they were all out again doing tasks for The Poet who was planning something big in Cullfield. They had heard rumors that the remaining Serpents Balde were held up in Amberslide, and Celthis had gone to investigate but never returned. This made Colynn and her friends go out to Amberslide to check out what had happened there. They quickly found out that the serpents had indeed taken over the city and were using Mahlaran refugees from Evlora and a workforce while keeping the other civilians of the city in check. They had also killed almost all the Tru Guards in the city. They all made their way through the city to find the new leaders of the serpents, but during their investigation of the mayor’s mansion, Colynn was knocked unconscious by an assassin changeling. She did not get to take part of the upcoming battle, but she was saved by her friends and received an antidote for the poison she had been inflicted with. Her friends had figured out that the people who were behind the overtake was Akhfester Venom who they had originally fought when he tried to assassinate the king and his daughter, but he had been resurrected by an old Mahlaran trick. The other leader however was a bigger surprise, it was Clad Silvarno who had no idea himself how he was alive, but it was revealed that Illidan had accidentally brought him back when they were messing with forces of reality in Elseria. The situation in Amberslide was fixed by them and they decided to take in the refugees from Mahlar to Brinehold.

Eye Spy

Colynn had spent much time in Brinehold while her friends were out doing smaller tasks, she had also researched and attempted to find the Eye of Dendar on her own but understood that she could not do it alone. Her friends had recently been busy at the Arcantort Institution as they had learnt that there was a conspiracy at the root of the Institution and Entropy might have been the villain behind it, it was however found out that it was Hubrek who had been manipulate by a mind stone and forced to make war constructs for them. Colynn was relieved that Entropy was not the villain behind it, but she also did not completely trust her sister. This distrust would have to be put at bay for some time as she knew Entropy could help her locate the eye and she went to her for help. She agreed to do so as long as the Eye was kept at the Arcantory Institution and they researched it together, Colynn did not want her sister to have this power, but played along for now. It took them a few days to locate it, but they managed to find it floating on the astral sea. The Arcantory Institution also had the equipment needed to bring it back to this plane, something they managed. When Colynn got her hands on it, she quickly took power over the Eye and used its power on Entropy to have her forget all about it. She felt incredibly bad to manipulate her sister, but she did not want anyone to know she had it, to protect others from it and from others who might seek the eye. It was a burden she believed she needed to carry for herself, but she would reveal she had it to Illidan a few days later, but he promised to keep it a secret until she said it to others herself.

Demonic Boyfriend

Things were going good with Illidan, though they both took it slow together as they were both awkward romantically, but things were changing when it came to Illidan. He had accidentally put himself into debt with the demon prince Graz'zt during his stay in the Tower of Wonder, a deal which had become more unfair after an event which took place when Colynn was not present and kept hidden from her. Illidan’s attitude and physical appearance were slowly changing into a more demonic form. He was still Illidan in his heart, and Colynn managed to see through the changes and see that he was fighting them, but the months with Graz’zt watching over them became a bigger and bigger problem. Colynn began to dedicate much of her spare time to find either a solution to this or help research weaknesses of the demon prince of seduction in hopes of one day outwitting him or fighting him.

Venthirs

Following up on some of the clues Colynn’s friends had to defeat Wysteria and her boss Wendall Grimsbane led them to Fylhalon, the home of the hemocraft wielding venthirs. They had to journey far into the wilderness to find this isolated organization, but they managed to find it with the help of Bryce Shock a venthir who they found dead on the way and managed to resurrect. The journey was still difficult and some teleportation mishap took place, but they eventually found the castle. They had to be tested to be allowed entrance to Fylhalon, and Colynn was taken as a hostage in this situation to make sure her friends did not leave. They had to go out and kill a former venthir who had turned into a gravewalker ghouls, and returned within the day successful. The stay at the venthirs was very emotional for Colynn as both Yaxora and Zairo decided to go through the process of becoming a venthir which was very risky and had a massive chance of failure, especially for Zairo who was not in a fortunate situation like Yaxora who already shared some of their powers. The screams of her friends while they were going through the most painful experience of their lives made Colynn sad and desperate as there was nothing she or anyone could do so alleviate their suffering, but miraculously, both of them survived and had gained the powers of venthirs, but needed to rest for a long time. During their time of rest, Colynn researched much about the demon princes and learnt much about Graz’zt including about his general and possible sons Verin and Ztefano. It was well timed as Illidan had changed more as he had bargained with Graz’zt for Zairo to have an easier time surviving the procedure which made him a venthir. They spent much time in Fylhalon all in all and learnt much which would guide them going forward.

Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing

After having been at Fylhalon, they all returned to Brinehold quickly as they found out that Lyssandra Blackbriar was on the run from Blackmark an assassin from Brotherhood of the Void. Lyssandra was originally a person they had fought and killed, but she had been resurrected and later turned on her cult in order to help fight against them. She had also helped Illidan figure out more about his family’s past and the plans they had for him. They went and saved her, but found out the next day that they were tricked and that Lyssandra had already been killed moments before they found her and that the one they brought back was Blackmark who had changed into her and killed Illidan during the night. Even though he had died before, this only made Colynn more sad and afraid that one of these times they would not be lucky enough to come back, but they managed to bring him back this time as well. They also went back and got Lyssandra’s corpse which they later resurrected as well.

Fiends in Crownpass

After almost having her heart broken again by the sudden death of Illidan and the stress of her friends suffering to become more powerful, they were needed in Cullfield by The Poet’s side as he had big news for the city. They all went to Cullfield and her friends were needed for safety on stage while Colynn watched from below the stage. During The Poet’s speech where he told the city that he would take over the surrounding land and remake the nation of Rhunia, a bolt was shot at him and hit Illidan instead who jumped in front of it. He almost died to the well placed shot and Colynn again almost saw him die. They were lucky this time as they managed to find the assassin and come to the bottom of who had tried to kill him, it was again Wendall and his mind stones who had been behind it, with the support of the Rothwell family in Cullfield. They ended up searching their mansion and found a massive dungeon beneath their house which they walked through, fighting all sorts of creatures and avoiding dangerous traps which almost had them killed at several points. At the end of the dungeon they also found an entity by the name Brachnis which was the son of the Archduke of Hell Belial. Illidan tried to deceive it and after playing his card badly and putting everyone’s lives at stake they managed to kill him and send him back to Hell. Colynn, Yaxora and Zairo were all upset at Illidan as this almost killed them all. Colynn and Illidan managed to fix this upset later that evening as they talked about what was really going on with him and how bad it is getting. They made up for it by going on a date together later that week.
