Gaining New Spells

In Aloran there are three ways to learn new spells. The first way is the through leveling up in your class and gaining spells as it dictates. The second way is through reading books and scrolls that contain the spells and learning from them. The third way is for someone to teach you the spell. Over the course of Aloran's history a large amount of magical knowledge has been lost or forgotten by the majority of the magical community. In other words there is a very large number of spells not in the Player's Handbook that you are capable of learning regardless of your class and level. All you have to do is look for them. Depending on how you learn them, these new spells can also increase the number of prepared spells you are allowed.
