Critical Gamble

Whenever a Natural 20 is rolled for an attack roll, the player (including the DM) can risk the critical hit for a chance at greater damage. Roll another d20 with no added bonuses. If the roll is 11 or higher than the damage die multiplier goes from a x2 to a x3. The player can continue rolling to increase the multiplier in this way until they reach x6. Upon reaching a x6 multiplier the attack automatically kills the target creature in an epic display decided by the attacking player. If at any point during the Critical Gamble process the attacking player rolls a 10 or lower the attack is no longer considered a critical hit causing it to lose its damage multiplier and not be considered an automatic hit. The attacking player is also able to choose to not attempt a Critical Gamble or stop after they have made a successful roll.
