Alkenheim

Alkenheim, a region of the same world you've lived on for most of your current life. Unlike the rest of the surrounding world, it hasn't undergone the same changes as all the other lands. Some things from long ago still lurk here, be it above ground, below ground, or in the very existence surrounding it. All sorts of creatures, ranging from microscopic magic bugs to beasts created from the horrific places off the edges of the kingdoms here, despite the development of other regions, Alkenheim isn't unified in it's technological advancements, or it's feelings towards foreigners, but kings and queens alike need truly loyal soldiers to send forth and expect results from. Unlike your average day, the only effective way there is via airship, or other flying transport, the waters of this place have been known to be unwelcoming to newcomers. Some might be returning here, and they'll recognize their homes amongst the vast sandy kingdom of Vushrikar, maybe the forested bestial lands of Jae, perhaps the militarized and very efficient kingdom of Loheim, or even Dul, the holy island. Be wary, for even with a grand amount of time here, a naturally grown hell awaits those unprepared. Aside from the truly named settlements, there are the few unnamed places that have been seen by a few to a lot, but never have been claimed, for a reason of respect, or a reason of fear.
