This book depicts the history of Almas from the years before the death of Jegor to modern day.

This book, which has no author on the cover, details the "history" of Almas. It tells of how the evil and greedy people of Almas were jealous of the god Jegor, and plotted to kill him with Tivel and Asmodeus. It further depicts the death of Jegor at the hands of Asmodeus and Tivel in a great duel over the country and the country's loss of magic. It then goes into the civil unrest as the nation is divided up amongst warring factions and the great purge of the Faithful of Jegor and other Spellcasters. It explains that the family that united Almas, HOUSE AUBIGNY, gained the secrets of gunpowder by aligning with Asmodeus, and that the country is filled with devil worshippers who seek to bring about the rule of Asmodeus. It further explains that their further alchemical gains were created by sacrifices to Asmodeus, that the secrets of gunpowder involve human components and that the family is cursed to never have a female heir as a last act of vengeance from Jegor. It also explains that the evil workings of Asmodeus have brought some magic back to the land, but only for his followers.
It explains away the current Gunpowder Princess Gailesis (Gale-e-iz) "Grace" Aubigny has survived by a dark ritual to turn herself into a Succubus in Asmodeus's service, with the blessings of King Aaron Aubigny IV, the current monarch and holder of the title "Powder King".
