Darius 'John' Henry ((Dare-ree-us))

Description:

A giant of a man, standing at a massive 7'5, towering over everyone easily. He's an intimidating figure with his muscles being bigger than watermelons, allowing him to wield weapons, lift objects, and stop forces no one else can with sheer strength alone since he lacks Calibers. His eyes are a dark brown, a bald shiny head, and an almost always confidently grinning expression (with pearly whites).
In battle, he wears medieval metal armor so thick and heavy, that any other humanoid creature would be crushed inside. He never wears a helmet, however, due to him, not much-needing one often times with his height. In his hands, he usually either carries a massive, two-handed war-hammer, or a giant two-handed battle-ax.
His more casual clothing usually tends to be a black shirt, oftentimes too small, and a lighter version of his legging armor, scorched and scratched from his long work in a blacksmithing shop.

History:

Born to a family that ran a successful restaurant at The Crossroads, experienced a good upbringing, with Drommus Henry being his brother. He was taught good morals, and exemplified them outstandingly. He helped his parents run the restaurant while he continued his school, discovering his talent for metal making and forging. By the time he was an adult, Darius was ready to pursue a career as a blacksmith, attending a university in New Lothdon. There, Darius met Avice Schmidt, and the two of them became quick and close friends. By the end of their educational period, Darius and Avice (now dating) earn money doing odd jobs before purchasing the necessary equipment and such to start their own blacksmith. They originally planned on setting up in Aquila Mons, but on their way, while staying in Feram, they hear of it's destruction, and then move to their destination to SlumsWealth. There they worked, growing in success and gaining the attention of William, who hires them as private blacksmiths.

Personality:

Majorly due to his good upbringing, Darius is a kind, empathetic, and understanding man. Despite his intimidating appearance, he can be really gentle at times. Other times, he can really show his power and terrify the bravest of soldiers. He's good natured and has a good sense of humor, able to take jokes easily. He has a habit of saying words like 'man', 'yo', and 'foo''. Even if he's about to die, he keeps a positive attitude, with a massive smile, especially since he idolizes John Henry and tries his best to be like the legend.

Age: 32

Born February, 27, 4584. His father gave Darius his middle name to be named after the legend, 'John Henry', which fits him due to Darius growing up physically to be similar to how John Henry was described. He's quite proud of his middle name, but not boastful of it. Like John Henry, Darius is proficient with hammers and works with metal.

Quirk:

Because of his large build and muscle mass, Darius is a bit of a food junky, eating more than three times as much as a normal human would. Darius and Colton Diaíresi Toa have a lot of fun that they share this similar trait, sometimes having eating competitions or will have discussions about their favorite courses. Course, Darius prefers grilling steaks over sandwiches, and gave Colton Diaíresi Toa a promise that he'd make Colton a top quality, rare meat, perfectly grilled steak.

Relationship:

Darius and Avice Schmidt are a couple, and plan to get married after the war, using rings they made themselves. Though they seem to fight a lot, they're very protective of each other. Darius more gently protective, while Avice Schmidt is more violently so. Though, in blacksmithing, the two make an elite team and produce some of the best products a blacksmith can produce in Central Mesica. Not accounting for the skill of the dwarves.

Hobby:

Going hand-in-hand with his blacksmithing skills, Darius has a hobby of examining and studying weapons, both modern and ancient. He has a good knowledge (more so than Lily Scientia Alledria in some areas) about weapons, especially mysterious and potentially magical weapons. He serves as a type of 'weapon adviser' for the Celestial Lumanine, having proficiency in examining weapons to determine their material, age, what battles they have seen, and possibly their purpose (should they have a specific one). He can also design weapon shapes and styles that would be extremely effective for their use. With help from Avice Schmidt for material knowledge, the two can create tools rivaled by none except for the dwarves.
