Queen Aerilaya I

First of her name, the Phoenix, by the Grace of the Gods, Queen of the Firstborne Children of the Gods, sixth since the Sundering, Sovereign of the Great Yellow Wood and other realms of the Elves, Defender of the Mahogany Throne, and Servant of the Faith Aerilaya Brightstar

"Arise your highness," said the cleric. Then, he turned to those assembled and said, "May I present to this august group of Nobles of the Kingdom your newly crowned Queen. Aerilaya Nighstar, First of her name, the Phoenix, by the Grace of the Gods, Queen of the Firstborne Children of the Gods, sixth since the Sundering, Sovereign of the Great Yellow Wood and other realms of the Elves, Defender of the Mahogany Throne, and Servant of the Faith."   All of the nobles assembled bowed.   The cleric turned back the Aerilaya and said "Your highness, may your reign be sustained and harmonious."   Then, all of the nobles repeated, "may your reign be sustained and harmonious."   With that the newly crowned Queen ascended the Throne, and sat down.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

She has all of the general physical abilities of an average elves, meaning that she is quicker and more lithe than the average human. As she is relatively young by elvish standards she is in the prime of her physical prowess. However, due to the magical burn that she suffered in an assisnation attempt she has slightly less flexibility on her left side.

Body Features

She is pale white, with long black hair, and bright green eyes.   She is often compared to the descriptions of the first elvish leader after the Sundering the Jade Empress. She is considered, even by Elvish standards to be one of the most beautiful beings in the world.

She is one of the strongest Sorcerers in the world, however she chooses to specialize in

Apparel & Accessories

Before he ascension to the throne she wore the clothes of the average elf sorcerer, refusing the wear the Royal garments that she was entitled to wear as the symbol of her station.

She uses heavier armor than most elvish magicians; she wears studded leather armor; and uses a short sword as a focus.

Personal history

She was born 100 years before the start of the story to the Royal Family of the Woods elves. She was born during the Great Fire which torn through the capital. As a result, she was given the nickname the Phoneix or the Fireborne. This was seen as a omen that her reign would be a turbulent one. After attending her education with the Royal Academy and the Order she returned to the

Due to the several close calls that she has had with fire including the scarring of the side of her chest from magical flames she has a deep fear of fire

Motivation

She first and foremost is interested in making the elves a larger part of the world at large. She believes that the elves can no longer run from the world but instead should step out of the shadows and help the larger world.
