Personal history

Born on the 9th of Icedarken 6622, Zeldar is the son of Agrar Ashwind and Aylin Longhunter. Agrar was a stern, just man who always took his job as king of Vaeteron very seriously. Zeldar often felt like a disappointment, a failure of his parents and as if he could never live up to their expectations. He was so determined to do better, to fulfil the burden of his father, that at the age of just twelve he left his family in Dustharbour and travelled up north to the city of Moontear specifically to the great libraries of the city, to study, pondering how he could possibly succeed under all of the pressure from his parents.

Zeldar was taken into care for one of the monks in these libraries, who always knew that Zeldar's rigorous overwork of himself would always just result in pain and his own suffering. Zeldar forfeited taking care of himself in order to work harder. When he was fourteen, he received devastating news from Dustharbour - his father Agrar had died, assassinated by the criminal guild in the city's shadows - the malevolent Black Dragon, led by the manipulative Neheria Burnshadow. Zeldar, devastated by the news and knowing he had to take up his ancestor's mantle, returned to Dustharbour and was crowned as the new king.
Since then, Zeldar has led the council of Dustharbour and governed the country, surprisingly well even at such a young age. He has always been determined and extremely motivated to keep doing the job he now loves, with the pressure of his family legacy becoming unimportant to him.
