High Elves

High elves have sharp minds and most of them are skilled in the basics of magic. There are two types of high elf - moon elves and sun elves, and they live in separate settlements and generally don't interact. The sun elves believe themselves to be superior to other kinds of elves whereas the moon elves are more kind. Both spend years in research, trying to understand the world.

Appearance

Sun elves have gold or bronze coloured skin and moon elves have a slight grey or bluish tinge to their skin. Sun elves have golden or copper eyes, and moon elves have blue or black eyes. Both have black hair.

Traits

You can use these traits for high elves in Alehath, instead of the subrace traits in the official rules sources.
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Elvish Weapon Training. You have proficiency with the Light Crossbow, Longbow, and Longsword. You can use a longsword as if it had the Finesse property.
High Elf Magic. You know the Prestidigitation cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast Chromatic Orb once with this trait, and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast Misty Step once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
