Thunderstruck Spell in Albion: Time of Anarchy | World Anvil

Thunderstruck

This is Kria's personal song to inspire her comrads in combat. She plays the running line on her lute, and chants more than sings the words. If she is standing (not riding) , she stomps for the drumbeat that becomes "THUNDER". As she plays, she encourages her comrads to join her on the refrain of "THUNDER".   Lyrics/chant:

We have COME
with the WINDS of the STORM at our Backs.
THUNDER!
  We have COME
And for US there is NO Turning back.
THUNDER!
  Our Hearts STRONG
and our MINDS clearly SET on one task.
THUNDER!
  In the STORM
hear our DRUMS: see our STEEL: know your DOOM comes nigh.
THUNDER!
  Sound of the Drums
Flash of bright light
Thunder of Hooves
Tear you apart

You've been....
THUNDERSTRUCK.

Effect

You can inspire others through stirring words or music. To do so, you use a bonus action on your turn to choose one other creature other than yourself within 60 feet of you who can hear you. That creature gains one Bardic Inspiration die, (d6 1st - 4th; d8 5th - 9th).

Once within the next 10 minutes, the creature can roll the die and add the number rolled to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw it makes. The creature can wait until after it rolls the d20 to decide to use the Bardic Inspiration die, but must decide before the DM rules it a success or failure. Once the Bardic Inspiration is rolled, it is lost. A creature can only have one Bardic Inspiration at a time. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your wcharisma modifier. You regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest; at 5th level, you reagin all uses after a short rest.

Combat Inspiration (College of Valor)

A creature that has a Bardic inspiration die from you can roll that die and add the number to a weapon damage roll it just made. Alturnatively, when an attack roll is made against the creature, it can use its reaction to roll the BID and add the number rolled to its AC against that attack, after seeing the roll but before knowing whether it hits or misses.
