Albion

An alternate-history world of low-fantasy with a focus on the societal, cultural & personal elements. With that said, this is not a beautiful world, nor is it one of darkness; it is a real one, where the good and bad are rare, and those you meet and they who rule are both skilled and flawed. Not white and black nor just shades of grey, but a whole scale of color and life and texture, a world where, win or die, life is interesting. The races are most of the generic fantasy species, with Elves and Dwarves and the like, but there are more than a few 'twists' in these classic peoples. For instance, what of an Elven culture, living in the far north, being a Matriarchal society very similar in tone and action to the Norse of the 8th-11th centuries? Or Humans as not being a naturally occurring race, but instead a crossbreed between many other races? New ideas (mostly...) and plenty of maps and costume designs will be made and uploaded over time; hope you enjoy your visit to Albion!! 'Albion' is just a place-holding name for now, much like the maps I make (hand drawn with pencil and not the most skilled, but I think they do enough).
