Magni Torham Character in Albion | World Anvil

Magni Torham

Magni Torham is the longtime Duelling master of the Guard, training up apprentices and members of the Guard in key skills. Richard Edgarton is his favourite apprentice.   He has been partners with Gilbert Oxley for at least twenty years as of the beginning of Pastiche, something they keep very private. They live in a renovated former barn (made more accessible for wheelchair use) just outside of Trellech.

Four Walls and a Heart
When Magni discovers that Gil - a friend, but not close - has come back from the Mahdist War and is in the Temple of Healing, he visits. From there, things spiral into an unexpected seaside stay, a mysterious house, and the two of them figuring out whether they can actually have what they want in life.
Pastiche
When Magni is injured early in Pastiche, Richard Edgarton comes to visit him in the Temple of Healing. Magni makes a decision to see what Richard does if invited to see more of his personal life. Thankfully Richard rises to the occasion, and Magni and Gil become part of the Edgartons' chosen circle.
The Fossil Door
Magni is at the party at the end of The Fossil Door, as well as the conversation the following morning.
Three Tales of Gabe and Rathna
